This courier service company (don't know is it real courier company) call me, asking me to pay half of it 1st then later after receive the parcel then only pay the balance.

What i did is, I ask them to courier me the cheque 1st ('cause I don't have such money to pay them, GBP 450 is approx. Ringgit Malaysia MYR 2500) then after that I'll pay back the courier service.

Nows day, really got lots of this type of fraud email about winning the lotery. World economy is very bad now, hope all will be caution about this thing.

Hi I too got this kind of mail and I am toltally confused . If you get any further communication on this please let me know. Earlier I have received this kind of mail from Yahoo also which I could makeout as Fraud as I checked the same in Google and it gave me clear cut info that Yahoo Lottery winning mail is Fraud and not to provide any details to them. But from Microsoft, I checked in Google again and it did not give any info neither Positive nor Negative

Please don't belive on this kind of mail. 1st of all, think like that. you have got a mail from microsoft winning notification but that mail will came from another mail server instate of microsoft. that mail is not came from microsoft.com & even microsoft is not free for this kind of things. As well as i am watching this kind of mail from last 9 years but nobody gets anything. Everybody's lost his/her valubable time & money behind this kind of rubbish thing.

This kind of mail will ask you for secure detail like date of brith, your mother middle name, your place of birth, your mailing address, your contact number which your using in bank or credit card, your credit card information ....blalblabla... Please don't provide them anything..... Even they will ask to send money for charity, for curior company, for service charges or any other kind of excuses which require money.

So, Please I personally sugget.. If you found mail from any bigger company name like microsoft, yahoo, google or any other lottery company want to send winning money to you on that time please kept in mind they all want to do scam.

yeap, i used to get these kind of mails , these are real fake mails as it is fishing on net for the details and from the next day you would start getting spam mails . in hundreds make sure that you dont give any information they are asking .

Is there any possibility of checking the genuiness of this message.Everybody is complaining but without any response from any quarter.one my friend lost some money on giving the information asked by the socalled organisers.The UK government is the appropriate authority to take some action.

Please DO NOT believe those emails. All lottery winner emails like this are FAKE. This is a very simple trick used by cunning people to fool unsuspecting individuals. First of all they will ask you to contact them and then when you contact them, they will give you more details about your prize. Finally they will say your money is ready to be transferred but you need to pay the courier company fees which would be more than Rs. 25000 or even Rs. 50000. Then after you pay them the fees to get your money, they NEVER contact you.

One of my friends paid Rs. 1, 00, 000 to get his prize money but he NEVER got anything. He lost all his money. Please learn from his mistake and do not believe any such emails. There was also a warning in TIMES OF INDIA by Delhi Police to ignore such emails as all the lottery winning emails are FAKE and if you pay them money in the name of any fees or transaction costs, no one can help you get your money back- not even the police or law. If you pay them any money, you will loose all your money forever!

Please consider the following before believing such emails:

1. Did you take part in any lottery program? YES or NO. If your answer is NO, then think about it- Why did you get a winner email if you never participated in any lottery program?????

2. Check the spellings in the emails. If most spellings are wrong and company name is written in CAPITALS like MICROSOFT, YAHOO, GOOGLE- most of the times such emails are fake.

3. Check the email address from which the email was sent to you. If the email is not from microsoft.com or google.com, then it is FAKE.

Also, PLEASE NEVER REPLY TO ANY LOTTERY EMAIL. IF YOU REPLY TO THEM, THEY WILL KNOW YOU ARE A REGULAR EMAIL USER AND THEY WILL SEND YOU 100 OR 1000 EMAILS PER DAY!!

The most disturbing thing is that i nearly fall for this, because i was told that i have won 500000.00GBP and i had to email my address at the eaglecourierdeliververy.com, so i did and was told to deposit 250.00GBP in their account, but i became suspicious and started asking question but did have answer.So why microsoft cant help because this people are using their brand and also this couriers had to be checked.

Approximately one week ago I received this correspondence - documentation was completed and forwarded, but in my heart of hearts, having not won anything before doubt raised in my mind to win such a large amount of money, but then looking my overheads that I can sort out and shift.
During the weekend I contemplated their emails and thought that I would investigate this further - so I veered to the offices in Holborn to their payment division - not quite an office but a residential building - then my heart sank!!! Missed opportunities.
If they wish to persue with these money making schemes, I myself would castrate each and every one of them.

well unlike many scams atleast this time they used windows live ids(no yahoo ids) actually that email id [protected]@microsoft.info caught me by surprise a bit anyway after checking net its easy to know that its a scam;)
i replied back with some false information and some right (ofcourse no question of giving bank details etc) lets see !
nothing is for free in this world!!!

The sender's address was:

meaning, that the sender is from Hong Kong (hk), not Malaysia.


This is a typical fraud,
started by African organizations. don't get fooled guys.

They are all spam. Always send them to [protected]@uce.gov and also click the spam button so as not to recieve such mail from the same address. Take care

PS: You can better still add the above email to your address book or contacts folder so you can easily forward.
More so, most of such mails often indicate your identity (i.e you as a receipient) as "undisclosed reciepint".

2). Un Authorized use of name, logo, Format of International Organizations, Government Organizations, Banks for money transaction.
3).Fake E-Commerce Sites.
4).Building Porno sites.
5).Blackmailing people by making or collecting nude picture.
6).E-Mail threatening.
Any of these attempts can make the whole nation or individual’s life unstable.



Cyber crime protection :

Even though cyber crime detection and prevention is a tough thing but it is not impossible. For this we will have to work with a very big chain of government and technical organizations together. Cause a single person or a single country can’t do it. It should be taken step from the root level.
1). E-Mail id should be created and verified by Citizen ID card and Passport number and this database can be verified from anywhere for that particular person. Like I want to create one ID in Gmail – when I register for the email, they will verify my ID and Passport number from our country Citizen Database server. Like this from any country for any person this verification is very important.

2). Intel and all other motherboard company, Microsoft, IBM, SUN should develop and upgrade this Fingerprint technology, and this technology will be built-in with each and every motherboard, every computer will run by its exact digital identity. E-Mail sites registration policy should be integrated for fingerprint verification, to take the image of fingerprint and save it into their database. Whenever any user wants to log, he will be verified by his fingerprint. So the email subscription and hardware system must be integrated together.

3). Serious punishment system for the crime, so the criminal will know if he or she commit any crime so that they knows that what will happen if they are caught.

4). Software and applications should be integrated with country government server globally, these applications can send and receive the data of daily new citizen ids, and the daily sales tax collection of every business and personnel. Globally ID Card database system still not integrated to share globally to verify any id from any location like from a bus station or any hospital.


These steps I can’t take it by my own. It should be proposed by every countries responsible ministry and come to a decision. I know it might be not possible for now, but some day this will be the only way and technology to stop cyber crime and detect every single individual in the web.
