i had a email today 9/4/2009 i had won email address lottery run by microsoft.prize lottery
i emailed back and asked was this a wind up because i had never entered any lottery and informed them that if it was microsoft emailing me to my hotmail address they aready have my home contact details so why would i have to give them this info
not heard back yet but no way will i give my bank details even if they phone me and say, hey we only wont to give you the £5000. you have won no no this is deffo a scam so watch out for theese scammers please

me too agree to the above complaints 2 days befor onwards i am receiving mails from microsoft award winning team and they told me that i got 1 million GB pounds as prize and now they are asking me to pay 23000 INR as the cost of delivery of their cheque which weighs to .35 kg.Microsoft should do anything to stop this type of fraudism.Many people are cheated in this way .In my mail it says that one Mr. Cole Smith is the agent and a courier company by the name The Diamond International Courier is in charge of delivery of parcel.

yes even i too have received the same e-mail from the microsoft awards team with the nice little letter head batch reference serial pin and verification numbers and after a little research found out this too was nothing more than a scam. i never signed up for any thing either, thank god, i found this link and all you complaints...i hope microsoft is doing something to get this remedied quickly before someone ends up hurt in this tough economical time.. may god bless and happy new year
