1. My name is Ramanathan Neelakantan and my PAN is AANPN6453D.
2. My mother’s name is Ramanathan Rukmani and her PAN is AEQPR7556C
3. My mother passed away during February 2023 and I had registered myself as her legal heir with IT department.
4. For FY 2022-23, I had filed her return as a legal heir and it had resulted in a refund. When the return was filed, my bank account attached to PAN AANPN6453D was reflected in the return.
5. The refund is being repeatedly sent to my deceased mother’s bank account which has been closed after her death, instead of sending the same to my bank account.
6. It has been informed to me by IT department that the software which has to assign my bank Account to the refund is malfunctioning and therefore it is not possible to to send it to my account.Also there are many such cases pending for refund ( legal heir cases)
7. Request that the refund pertaining to my mother’s return be sent to my bank account as a legal heir and oblige.
