I made a UPI payment of ₹2, 800 on [date] through the Mobikwik app to my colleague’s registered mobile number. The amount was debited from my account but not received by the beneficiary.
Upon verification, I found that Mobikwik fetched a wrong UPI ID for the same mobile number, causing the payment to be misrouted to an unknown account. When I checked the same number on other UPI apps, the correct ID was fetched and a test ₹1 transaction successfully reached my colleague. This proves the issue lies with Mobikwik’s system.
I raised a complaint with Mobikwik, but they have failed to resolve or take any action. This is a serious technical lapse in their app, leading to financial loss and undermining trust in UPI.
I request your urgent intervention to:
Investigate Mobikwik’s UPI system failure.
Recover and refund my lost ₹2, 800.
Take strict action against Mobikwik to prevent recurrence.
