Snapdeal / Micromax Canvas 2 — Product not delivered

Respected Sir,

I have Ordered a Micromax Canvas 2 A110 Mobie phone from Snapdeal.com to gift it to my wife on her Birthday i.e. 16th Jan. I ordered the phone on the 8th Jan -13 and it was supposed to be Delivered on the 17th Jan-13 as per snapdeal.

I have already made full payment of rupees 9999/- through my Credit card. I think Snapdeal is running out of stock and cheating people by not delivering the product at all and keep on giving an excuses for waiting for more 3-4 days.

When i requested to cancel my product they say it takes 21 days for refunding the money. Which is so frustrating.

I would request the CONSUMER COMPLAINT TEAM to please take some action against them and WARN people not to buy a product without speaking to them over the phone and make sure to RECORD the call.

How can you say that its getting delayed by couple of days ? Do you understand how may days are equal to COUPLE OF DAYS. It is 2 days. So according to you the Product will be shipped on the 19-Jan-13.



Read the notification properly that says the products estimated shipping date id 23-Jan-13. And you are telling me its couple of days…!



HOW CAN I TRUST YOU THIS TIME ??? Please give me the exact delivery date and according to that I will decide if I want to cancel and just cancelling the product will not work for me I want my money back right away, as I said I cannot wait for 7 days for you to refund the money.



You are not addressing any of my concerns. How would this email with an apology fulfill the customers need. You must give me an exact date of delivery.



Please try to keep youself in the customers shoe and you will feel how frustrating this is.

Jaaved Shaikh, Jan 17 08:22 pm (IST): This is not acceptable. The product was supposed to be delivered to me on the 17th of Jan 2013 and I was promised the same when by your executives.

Today you are sending me an email stating that you cannot deliver it and there will be a delay in the delivery. If the delivery was not possible, you should have told me when I called you on the 14th Jan 2013. I would have cancelled the product and got my money back. As other Sites in the market are able to deliver in the product within 5-6 days.

You have already taken my money as I have made the payment in full through my Credit Card. I want this product to be shipped to me at its earliest otherwise I might have to cancel it and want my money back right away. I cannot wait for 7 days for you to refund my money. I have already wasted my 10 days. This was my first product from SNAPDEAL and my experience is very very bad. I have purchased so many products online from different website and I never had this problem before.

Please don’t take this email to be granted and make sure that you delivery my product before the 20th of Jan 2013 OR I will have to escalate it.
