It has come to our notice that few unscrupulous elements are approaching candidates, claiming/pretending as our associates or partners and are fraudulently charging fees in lieu of fake job offers. In order to avoid such elements, please make a note of the following:
• Monster recommends jobseekers to be alert & verify the legitimacy of such offers
• Be cautious of any such job appointment confirmation/offer letter without any interview with the prospective employer
• Verify any suspicious URL or web link, in case of any doubt, please be cautious.
• Please check the legitimacy before sharing any personal information /bank account /credit card/ or any other sensitive information
Please note Monster does not authorize any agency/partner to collect fees against job offers.
We further suggest the following identifiers to screen such fraudulent job offers.
• Company or individual seeking upfront/advance fees through bank/cash in individual name or through wire transfer.
• If the company or an individual provides an offer letter without any interview.
• The email address used is from free email address and not from company email. User is advised to search for contact information on search engines to know if the individuals involved in job scams earlier.
• If the job requires upfront/advance payment for a job offer/processing of your application/processing of visa/immigration fees etc.
• If the company seeks your personal information/ bank related information (like credit card details/bank account/online banking details)
