[Resolved] Mswipe Technologies — refund not received even after 10 days. don't know where my amount went. | |||
On 29th march, i have made a debit card transaction through mswipe pos machine at 'aadhavan phrmacies pvt ltd' (Registered name as per mswipe receipt) located in coimbatore. The bill amount was rs.312. But the merchant accidentally added additional two zeros in the mswipe pos machine and the amount debited was rs.31, 200. The merchant immediately refunded the same amount of rs.31, 200 through the pos terminal and issued me a refund receipt. But even after waiting for 10 days, the amount has not been credited to my account. The merchant also reported that debited amount of rs.31, 200 was not credited to the merchant's bank account after verifying his bank statement. So the merchant is hesitating to refund the amount by cash. The merchant called the mswipe customer care and reported the issue. They told me to quote the 'rr no.' in my bank so that they would locate the current status of the refunded amount. I have approached my bank with refund receipt and quoted the 'rr no.' and made a complaint but still there is no response. I have called the mswipe customer care again but they gave me the same reply of showing the 'rr no.' to the bank. I want to know, where my amount of rs.31, 200 went. If it is not credited to the merchant's account or refunded to my own account then where else it would have gone? It seems your mswipe is holding the amount and failing to release it. Kindly look into this issue seriously and return my money back as soon as possible. If this problem didnt get resolved then there is no other way for me other than to lodge a police complaint on the merchant and mswipe. Merchant regd. Apr 11, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved The Mswipe customer care called me from 022 49224400 and told me to approach my bank to resolve the issue. They were very sure that they have taken all the steps from their side to resolve my issue. Mswipe Technologies customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Requesting you to check with your bank as the amount is lying in the suspense account of your bank itself.
