I have recently shifted from uae to india. When i had shifted to uae in 2015 i had taken my 2 pet rabbits with me to uae. Now when i have shifted back to india i want to bring my rabbits back with me. To import them into india i have applied for a dgft import licence in mumbai dgft in february 2018 and it was sent to delhi dgft where it was approved in the month of may 2018 but till now they have not issued me the import permit and they are not even giving me a reason for not issuing neither they are giving me a time limit. I have left my rabbits in uae in a pet care centre but i don't have any knowledge when this permit will be issued. I do not know what to do or where to go regarding this because on enquiring in dgft mumbai they are saying it's been held up in dgft delhi for reasons unknown. Please help me resolve this matter as importing pets should not be such a big issue when all the documents are in proper order. Was this information helpful? |
