We have been requesting the traffic police to make the narrow part of our lane no parking. This is because the lane is so narrow and when people park their cars irresponsibly, the residents suffer.
It has reached a point that the school buses cannot enter the lane.
In case of an emergency how will a fire engine fit??

Are we not entitled to clear and obstacle free roads??
We have even submitted pictures as proof!!!

Can someone please help!!!

There's a illegally pay n park organization is going on near trade centre, bandra kurla complex.
I had parked my bike outside this illegal pay n park section for 10 minutes and on returning back, my bike was towed. On enquiring, I came to know that my bike was taken backside of kurla telephone exchange. On visiting there, it was a barren land covering with shutters look like under construction ground.
There was no proper traffic control room. only one traffic constable was sitting in a moving shed with just one fine book.
It wasn't seem to be a legal traffic chowky.
I paid 200 rs. fine but that constable gave me receipt of only 100 rs. On asking him for balance 100 rs. receipt, so he denied me and rudely told me to move on and leave.

      Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your kind attention the traffic problems
created by illegal parking of Trucks/Goods Vehicles and Cars.
This is done in a area where there are several Boards of Traffic
Police declaring it as NO PARKING AREA.
the exact spot is when we take a turn from Western Express Highway
to go towards Saki Naka, there is a building of Kanakia Builders
which has huge Television screens displayed on the road. Right from
this sport and upto Crisil House on the same road we find trucks
and cars parked in the morning from 8.00 am till 11.00 am which is
the peak traffic time. Due to this the Road is jammed upto Marol
      Naka.
Also on the opposite road which is going towards Western Express
Highway, below the Marol Naka Metro Station there are tourist cars
parked throught the day which again results in traffic jam.
This is happening right in front of the Traffic Officers and
Constables who are on duty in this area.
Sir, If required I can send you the photographs of the trucks/cars
parked right below the Traffic Police "NO PARKING" signs.
Need immediate solution to this .

      Thanks
      Muzaffar Khan

Construct the concrete road divider on R-C road opposite to Chembur golf club upto mahul road signal. Because of free access to any side vehicles take sudden U turn which creates lot of problems for traffic from both the directions. Moreover, because of this there are always traffic jam and high chances of bike skidding. The traffic situation on the road is very precarious state and needs immediate overhaul.

Reinstall the concrete road divider near amar mahal petrol pump signal on ghatkopar-mahul road stretch. Earlier there was road divider but after road repair few portion of the road divider was demolished. Because of this vehicles take sudden U-turn which cause nuisance to the entire traffic system. Moreover, because of this there are always traffic jam and high chances of bike skidding.

There are multiple signals below th brigde as we move from north to south on SV road. Apparantly there is a separate signal for left towards station and there is main signal for left towards the flyover/bridge. Travellers get confused as the signals are switched ON at different times and leads to jumping signal.

Suggest to put a separate signal along with signboard towards station which guides the travellers and avoid jumping signal. It would help the travelles and save their lives.

            Dear sir,

            Myself sourya suvankar swain (M-[protected])
Need your kind attention against wrongly detention & harassment on road by traffic police mr. Sudham ishwar shinde near indian petrol pump, juhu beach on 28th-may-2016 at around 5:20 pm.

            Sir,
I have a volkswagen polo (Bought on 18-feb-2016) car with up registration recently came to navi mumbai for some personal reason, i went to juhu beach with my family on last saturday (28-may-16), before leaving maharashtra.
Mr. Shinde stopped us near indian petrol pump, juhu beach & asked for all papers, i show him all original papers & again he asked for puc, i convinced him, as it’s a new car same has been not required. Again he asked for tax & kept my driving licensee. I went near him & showed him the same day airoli toll receipt, he was not convinced & told me you have to pay rs 12000 tax. I asked to make a challan & will pay at rto office. He was not ready give challan also, just detained me my family for 45 minutes there, just delaying by calling 2, 3 people & asking for some forms, again he asked for rs 1600 tax but didn’t ready to provide challan. My elder brother came and pay 500 bribe to him after that he released us & returned my driving license.

            Dear sir,

            If possible, kindly response.
1.In which ground he detained us (Myself, brother, wife, mother & sister in law) for 45 minutes there,

            2. Do i am not eligible to travel in mumbai for 1 day with up registration number, even if i am having same day entry toll receipt of airoli plaza & all original documents including vehicle invoice dated 18th-feb-16, as per maharashtra motor department, "http://www.mahatranscom.in/rma. Aspx" we are eligible to kept other state registered vehicles for 1 year here.

            3. If anyone stops us on road, harassed us then what are possible ways for us to tackle with them, as i tried your rto toll-free number[protected] multiple times & didn't get any response.

As a proof of incident i am having
            1. Recorded audio conversation of traffic police (With photo of traffic police).

            Thanks for reading my concern

Today on my way at Goregaon SV road, headphone was on my ear, at signal and after crossing was stopped by 03 traffic constables at around 12:30 PM.
After telling about my offence they just snatched my driving licence and keys and demanded 600.
For this they prepared a challan and told to receive driving licence at court.
But even after giving 600 they didn't give me receipt on which they have taken my sign that driving licence received.
Even they were not ready to tell where to get receipt, and didn't mention the amount received.
There was 1 hour argument on road, for this ...they abused me, and told for dire consequences.
Finally I was freed but without any receipt despite giving 600 rs.
Luckily I was fortunate to have a colour Xerox of this.
They were suspicious when I wrote down their name nd snatched away my diary.
Can a common man like me can expect a corruption free and good behaviour by these traffic policemen...???

                    Dear Madam / Sir,

I am a resident of St. Roque Road, Bandra west (Behind Mehboob Studios).
There is a white Maruti desire (a doctors car) who parks at the entrance to a lane. He parks it vertically making it extremely difficult for cars of all building and residents of the entire lane to pass thru. School busses have to be re-routed sometimes and god-forbid, if there is a fire or a medical emergency in any of the buildings, neither a fire brigade nor a ambulance will pass thru.

I have attached the pictures herewith.

Request the car to be picked up ON A DAILY BASIS till such time as the doctor gets some civic sense.

Unfortunately by the time the towing vans come by 10.30-11.00 am, the Dr has left with his car.
The trouble continues later in the evening (from 8pm) upto next morning (9am)

Bike was towed during the friday's congregational prayers from an area which neither has a proper parking areas for bike nor any help is provided by an official. When confronted about the situation to the officials they responded by saying that you should not park the bike, or maybe you shouldnt have one and showed no kind of support or understanding. I was forced to pay a sum of Rs.200. Although the fine was small, the thing that hurt was the officials no concern for religious sentiment.

Borivali National park - Jaimin Travels Private busses are parked illegally approximately 20 to 25 bussed on both sides of the road. 10. Traffic Police officers are not placed at signal and standing away from the signal are indirectly allowing everyone training to break the signals. They should stand at the signals and increase the importance of the signals which they are appointed for. 11. Tequila and Jalsa Bar located at Link road - Did you gave any special permission of illegal parking to the customer of these bars. This problem this was seen and faced by me and henceforth brought to your notice. Imagine same problem is been faced by many people at many places in Mumbai. Our government has appointed many people for this job but their negligence makes the traffic issue looks bigger than what it is... My name is subodh Kumar.i am staying in 302, manoj bldg., opp. university campus, lane adjacent to Kota mahinra bank bldg., vidyanagari road, vidyanagari, santacruz (east), mumbai. the parking of vehicles parked by the staff of bank an other offices in the same building are being pared in the lane approaching to 6 buildings situated in the lane. the subject lane is not a municipal road. parking is being done on both sides of the lane thus making it a narrow lane and it becomes very difficult to move vehicles of the residents during office hours. The sedans and suv are also being parked even on the corner of the lane in such manner that you can not make out whether any lane exist there. it becomes a blind corner though it opens on a busy main cst road. corner of the lane touches the road and such parking violates the traffic rules. the traffic police is posted there but they never bothered to take appropriate action for such blatant violation of Traffic Rules, reasons best known to them.
Every day there is unnecessary heavy traffic just opposite road of Peninsula Hotel near Saki Naka junction, Andheri kurla Road, Andheri E 400 059.

There is just a need of signal to be put. no traffic police is required . Anyways there is no traffic police available in any of the day except couple of days in a year.

Every day people get late by around 20-25 minutes just for the reason of non availability of signal.

                                Kindly put signal.

Lucky Restaurant signal has become somewhat a nightmare with the 4-way junction handling traffic signal The problem can be better understood if one took into account the problems faced by local residents namely; • Too much leeway given to motorists going towards or coming from Mahim via SV Road. The signals are so badly timed to give those motorists the best right of way as compared to Bandraites • Hill Road is so narrow that the mouth of the road allows travel towards Mahim, Khar, & Bandra Railway Station. Motorists going towards Mahim or Sion or Dadar must use the Bandra-Worli Sea Link or be forced to do so. This Bandra Mahim interchange is an absolute nuisance • BEST Buses are best placed to take a turn towards Bandra Railway Station from the HP Petrol Pump signal instead of Hill Road. If they turn inward towards Hill Road, empty buses clog the road, leaving motorists with very little space to manoeuvre besides serving no purpose as no passengers get on • The worst case scenario is negotiating the Lucky Restaurant signal during peak hours by Auto/Bus! It takes no less than 7-8 minutes to negotiate the stretch which is pure agony both in terms of waiting & taking a massive hit on the wallet. Normal fare from Bandra Station to Mount Mary takes Rs.32 but in times of heavy traffic like this nothing less Rs.45

Heavy Traffic jams at Goregaon East area There are always heavy traffic jams during peak hours in the Goregaon East area, especially on the Goregaon Check Naka to Goregaon East Railway station stretch of the road. The main reason for it is that the vehicles are allowed to turn right at Udipi Vihar Hotel junction. Many vehicles coming via Western Express Highway from South Mumbai to Malad West area take a left turn at Goregaon...

We would like to bring to your notice some problems commuters face daily in Kurla west and Bandra east railway station. There is no system to get an auto, People are forced to share auto's. There is no Queue because the rickshaws do not come there and the behaviour of the drivers is quite harsh and commuters travelling are senior citizen's, Ladies and children who are refused to be taken by meter fare. Either they demand fixed amount or they ask people to share the auto which could be risky at times. Is the sharing system legal in city such as Mumbai.

                                      Respected Sir,

I was riding my scooter near Mahalaxmi Station. One Traffic Policeman stopped me wrongly for breaking the signal. I properly followed the signal. The signal did not show a yellow signal. When I reached a bit quite ahead of the zebra crossing the signal turned red instantly without showing a yellow signal. Now on middle of the road I cannot go back back from middle of the road. Now when when I went ahead the Traffic Policeman made challan instantly without listening to any of my comments. When I asked him what was I charged for, he did not give me any details. This was also against the right to information. It was known to me afterwards that I was charged for jumping signal under section 239 r/w 177 M. V. Act.
