There is two side parking, by mostly taxi operators, at our lane. Despite having the poles clearly stating odd/even days for parking, these taxi operators park their taxis on both sides of the lane & congest the already narrow lane. All my complaints to the traffic helpline has not yielded any results. The address is: new shirin talkies lane, jacob circle post office lane, kk marg, jacob circle, saat rasta, mahalaxmi, mumbai-11

There is illegal parking being done daily at the following address : road in fron of arjun smruti chs., shastri nagar, near link road, goregaon west. Till date twice the fire brigade van could not pass through this road because of such parking. Also in emergency any ambulance cannot come in the building. Moreover this vehicles do not belong to any of the people in the same society.

Location - outside lane of neelsagar building, bandra reclamation, mumbai)

There are 3 cars parked from last more than 6months on same spot and one without any number plate. It is risky from security point of view too. This is causing serious problems (Eg people are not getting parking, beggers, addicts might use for some illegal activities, n mosquitoe breeding due to lot of dirtyness underneath the car)
It's surprisingly no traffic towing van observed these 3 to 4 cars parked from so many months!

I am highly disappointed by mumbai traffic police.. I am from delhi and travelled to mumbai on 8th nov to see my ailing father in law. I took my brother in law's car to visit hospital in south mumbai. I was driving with my wife and child.. I don't know the place but it was somewhere between prabhadevi and south mumbai where this traffic hawaldar along with his 2 colleagues stopped me at secluded place and told me that i crossed paedistrians red light. I said the guy that i don't think so.. But from the biggining he threatend me that the voilation will cost me 1500/- and to escape i should give him 500/-. Being a law abide citizen i said him that m ready to pay against the violation and i know this violation is eligible for fine not more than 100/-. I told him that i am with my wife and child so pls don't harass me but he didn't gave any heed to my request and threatened to take me to police station.
I asked him about his name which he tried to hide which is against law. I saw no police men was bearing name batch which is against law.. What a shame for mumbai traffic police.. What the higher authorities are seeing.. Mumbai is not a small town.. It is financial capital.. On my repeated insist he casually told i am pawar.. He keeps on wearing helmet.. It gives me impression that this guy pawar is very corrupt guy who used to extort money from innocent public that's why he has taken full safety measure to hide his identity and escape from any video recording. To reach hospital i had ultimately paid bribe of 200/- in broad day light to these sarkari gundas.. I request jcp amitesh thakur to take strict action against all such officials. I also want to share one more very shame full thing emerged from this episode. This so called pawar even used marathi manoos factor and abused me with north indian remark which shocked me that how these guys forget being an indian rather they are differentiating on regional basis.. Inka bas chale to kashmir ki tarah maharashtra ki alag desh ki mang karne lagenge.. I only saw these marathi manoos factor prevailed in mumbai in news but felt this abuse my self during my recent mumbai visit.. Shame on these so called sarkari guys.. They are maligning the reputation of other wise nice city like mumbai.

Though the parking officially on one side of the road (Even/odd dates) of j. A raul road, prabhadevi, mumbai, through out the day cars/taxis are parked on both sides, causing inconvenience for both pedestrians and elders to walk. Also it will be very difficult for normal traffic movement. The major concern is even ambulances cannot move in case of emergency. Add to that now cows are also being tied through off late causing much more inconvenience

                Dear Sir,

Several accidents had took place and many have lost their lives in dharavi 90 feet road and 60 feet road due to illegal parking of vehicles, Jcb, lift and mixer machines on both the sides of roads. The traffic police had fixed sign boards of no parking on odd and even dates but non of the above follow the rules and no action had been taken by the traffic police. Most of the vehicles are dumped here for years.

There are sign boards of no parking in front of school, banks, bus depots and other public places but there the vehicles are dumped.

The vehicles are parked vertically that makes the road 45 feet road to use by public and again the vehicles are parked double that makes only 30 feet road usable for public.

Even the public can’t use the food paths because vehicles are parked there.

Due to the above mentioned illegal parking several accidents, theft and crimes took place. The Bmc cleaning department not able to clean the garbage, debris etc from the roads properly and due to this mosquito breeding and several health issues takes place.

Lastly the traffic police had done the wonderful job with the help of police and Bmc when Mr. Rahul Gandhi visited dharavi. The traffic police use to come and use to do towing of 4-5 cars when some body complaints for 2-3 days and after that they will be on holiday. If they tow and fine regularly each day they can fine more than 200 vehicles. Kindly do the needful to all the dharavi citizens asap.

                Regards,
                Citizen of Dharavi

My bike was towed and taken to santacruz traffic police station. I asked him about the fine, he said it is rs 436/- i paid him the cash but the receipt showed total fine of rs 236/- (Including gst). When i asked him about the extra 200 rs. He insisted me that the total amount is rs 436. I was in a rush so i left. There are people who are looting common people in the name of law and fines. We should help to stop it.

                      Sir...
I am sorry to say but after complaining so many times.. Your rto people visits but they returned back after getting hand in gloves with the person.
I am talking about musa killedar street, jacob circle, satrasta, mumbai -400011.in that lane the footpath exactly below killedar mansion building, it is been fully occupied by a person who stays in the same building and nor allows anyone to park his vehicle on on that lane except his own vehicle. This footh path is been occupied for entire 365 days, that person carries out his car renovation works on same foothpath.
And top of that if you see that lane itself is too narrow, there is no place for pedestrian to walk. If footpath is blocked by this illegal parking than, how we expect pedestrian to walk.
Your support and cooperation will be highly solicited.

Being a traffic police he should have informed the client rather than throwing and damaging somebody's bike. I hope some action is being taken against such # who just harras people by their designation!

Riya suzuki, which is at the junction of lbs marg & guru gobind singh marg at mulund (W) uses the road outside the shop to park and display almost 50 -75 vehicles at any point of time. This is causing hindrance to traffic movement and pedestrians - who as such have no footpath to walk.

Adjacent to the shop is a play school - where little toddlers too have to face the problem of this haphazard parking. Parents and caretakers who have to pick and drop their kids are forced to park their cars and vans further more on the road as most of the space is gobbled by riya suzuki

Using this opportunity of available space due to another shopkeeper consuming and blocking space, other shops of second hand car sales have started parking their cars too - further causing traffic chaos at the junction.

Road traffic officers stand not more than 300 meters away from this point (As signal is there) - but no one dares to correct this mess.

Towing vans with officers on duty do rounds throughout the space, but no action is ever taken on this shop. The owner makes most use of this casual approach of authorities and has become bold enough to use the road throughout the day for his business.

Can you please help and take action.

Signal under mulund flyover while coming from thane to airoli is placed improperly & is not visible. Many vehicles are jumping the signals due to wrong placement of signal. Government is looting the public by collecting fines with this strategy. If signal is at proper place - how can many people jump the signal? I request the authority to look into the matter and stop looting the public this dirty strategies.

This is to inform you that the date and time shown in the challan is a Monday and after 12 pm, while I drive to work by 10.30 am and reach work place by 11 am. Hence the time shown on the challan is incorrect.

And secondly, the image uploaded clearly shows that my car is within the parameters of the white line and has not crossed the white line. In fact, there are four 2-wheelers ahead of my car and a black and yellow taxi on the far right all are halted on the zebra crossing.

I therefore, request the Mumbai Traffic Police authorities to kindly recheck and cancel the challan of Rs 200.00 wrongly charged to me.

I look forward to your prompt and positive action.

                                  Thanks and regards,

I was driving around the s. P. Mukherji chowk (Museum) circle, when a havaldar stopped me. He said that i had jumped the signal, when actually i had not.

When i told him that we can check the cctv and i can show him that i have not cut the signal, he started arguing and said that he is only right. He insisted that i pay the fine, and then if i want to prove it, i have to go to worli police station to check the footage. Who has the time to go thru all that?

It seems to be a racket to fleece motorists.

There is a shared rickshaw stand on linking road, khar (West), opp kapoor lamp shades. There is a shared auto board stating the charge of rs 10/. Every festival time and weekends the shared auto drivers charge rs15, at times rs 20/, even from regular passengers, this is going on from august 2017, at times they are rude too, just a day before diwali 2017, there were 3-4 policemen on duty at the stand when the personnel asked them to come in line at the shared stand they drove away towards national college and took passengers from there at rs. 20/ each. Sir, please look into the matter since these drivers are fleecing us passengers of our money daily. Now to avoid the stand they have started waiting at the place near mochi showroom, and chargingrs.20/ from shoppers too.

I was coming fromvile parke and was stopped by kishore wagh along with 2 other police men stating that i jumped signal of tulip star hotel while taking left... When they saw that signal is still on and nothing as such happened then they said wearing headset is against law... There was no active call or file playing and when i asked him the law where constitution states wearing headset is crime they started abusing and said (Chya aila and akarmashi) and fined me for no reason...
