Mumbai traffic police ar notorious at standing to catch drivers on left turns, which, should be free turn. Motorists violating traffic signals for right turns or general braking of signals are never stopped. I made a left turn at Irla signal when the green light was blinking. I was stopped and forced to pay a fine with noproof whatsoever. The cops did not even see the signal. it was an assumption and ddagiri once they saw a woman driver. Disgusting behaviour

I have received 3 e challans for speed violations for the year 2016 just few days back i got the massage for the same and when i m checking online there is absolutely no evidence found regarding the same. no video or any photo is found and even no location has been given.
how am i suppose to pay this 3 challans for the same offence and without any evidences?

This is to bring to your notice that the Traffic police at Teen Haath Naka, Thane are demanding high amount of fine.

It almost take 2-3 signals at teen haath Naka signal to go to LBS Marg from Eastern express highway, so I by mistakely took wrong way of Service road, and I was caught and was demanded to pay fine of Rs 1200 for wrong way travelling, and it was first time I was facing traffic police, but I was not having that much amount, I told I don't have that much amount, then he demanded Rs 400, but I was having only 300/- So I gave him 300/- rs to get my licence back.
But I was shocked to see when I checked that as section 2RRR/177MVA the fine amount is 200/- Rs. Please correct me if I am wrong about Fine.
The public are being scared of high fines and more black money is being collected by this way.
We have to stop this. I was not able to check name of the Traffic police as I was in hurry.
Please see that correct fines are being asked and this corruption needs to be stop.

I, Mr. Shoeb Mustafa Halvadwala is an Advocate by profession. I have received an E-challan message at my Mobile Number having E-Challan No: MTPCHC[protected] for Offense: Halting Ahead White Line u/s 19(1) / 177 Motor Vehicle Act of Amount Rs.200/- at around 12:15pm on 01/06/2017.
I would like to bring to your notice that this E-challan generated on my vehicle is wrongly generated in place of someone else's vehicle. I visited Kandivali East R.T.O for the same issue and after hours of argument I was asked to contact the E-Challan helpline. Soon, I started making calls at the E-Challan Helpline and after several attempt, finally a call got connected and even the Staff at the helpline looked clueless and without satisfying my query they disconnected the phone. Thereafter I called at the office of Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) & even there they were not able to solve this issue. I also tried contact all the responsible person by tweeting my complain but the result was same.
I would like to bring to your notice that I was deeply saddened by the harassment caused by your department for the mistake committed by your very own department. Everytime I reached to your department I felt humiliated and ignored. Kindly look into this matter, I hope to see some positive action from the Mumbai Police as soon as possible.

I am resident of dreams bhandup. I see huge traffic everyday at pawar public school bhandup west in the morning between 7:45 to 8:30. Sometimes traffic jam takes 1 hr to move. There is crossing at lbs marg near dreams mall entry gate. There is no traffic police present both at that junction and at school round way. It would be great if couple of traffic police present in the morning between 7:30 to 8:30. It will reduce huge block by people driving in all directions.

Hope to get some response soon.

Today, at about 11.30 am i was driving (Dl 4 can 4855- honda city, with my 3 year old baby sitting in the other seat), on lbs road near r city mall (Towards ghatkopar). I stopped at the traffic light (R city-amritnagar cross) waiting for it to turn green, suddenly a while swift dezire car with reg no. Mh 46 ad 2343 who is behind me took a u turn in front of my car, damaging the headlight of the car. There was a heavy traffic so i couldn't get out of the car. Meanwhile the car which damaged the headlight of my car sped away after taking a u turn.

I suspected the car may have entered r city mall, and hence i went in checked with the parking staff who said the car didn't enter their premises. It appears the person who is driving may have sped away on lbs towards vikhroli.

You are requested to take necessary action!

And instead of charging me 200 he charged more 500 and that for said of argument behes
That means he has the power to fine anything what ever he wants if he gets angry. Can u look into it and reply me as soon as posible.
And one request stop that power to them. Its wrong coz they can charge any thing and our money is not for granted. Request u to question him

Truck, tempos, rickshaws are all parked on the main link road at shimpoli bbc market, and on one side due to metro work the road is narrowed, thereby leaving very little space for free movement of traffic, complaint was raised to head of traffic police mr. Jagtap of that area, but no improvment. The parking of the truck and tempos and rickshaws should not be on the main link road, allternate parking should be given on the inside road ahead, if not possible then the market should be shifted and there is lot of inconvenience to public.

Driver of auto rickshaw mh03 ba8563 is running his rickshaw on rs.30/ per person from kanjurmarg to hiranadani. Whenever anyone ask for supreme business park which is next to kingston he refuges to take them to supreme. He always keep giving silly reason for not taking any passenger to supreme business park. Please look into this as many passenger are affected because of such a behavior of auto rickshaw drivers.

Mumbai central per maine bike parking kiya tha waha per phele parking the 8 day phele se cancel ho gay hai to waha per kuch likha hona chiye waha per ek saite per chota sa likha tha bus mere ek ke nahi gay buhat long ke gay bike waha se maine waha ke office ko complaint kiya to unka answer ek he aiya mujhe nahi pata. Aap ko nahi pata to fine q le rahe ho and bol the ke mumbai central sastion ke compliant hai to complaint hai to waha per print kar ke laga ho ke mumbai cental walli long ko problem hai

Attached is the number of the car whose driver misbehaved with me at the traffic signal. He was constantly honking while his car was behind my scooty. On asking him to stop honking as it was pointless since we were all waiting at the signal for the green light.
He started honking rigorously and took the car window down and started abusing.
When i took the picture of his car, he became even more violent and threatened me.

Please look into this matter at earliest. I request you to charge him for his misbehavior towards me and misconduct at the traffic signal.

My bike got tow in malad (W) today between 9.30am-10.30am. I was present at that time & i told them that keep the other bike slowly in truck or else my bike parts will break. But he didn't listen & the helmet of other bike broke my bikes part. I complaint there & there to the officer present but he said come to rto. When i went to malad rto near subway to collect bike the officer was not present who towed my bike, but till then i paid the money & took receipt & was waiting for the officer to come. As he came i said him to repair the part which can be repaired only in rs.5 using feviqwik. He said yes & told to wait till the bikes which were towed were brought down from truck. Then i went to him again & said i'm getting late for my office please do it asap but he called me inside & he spoke to me rudely that go & complain to higher officials but i won't do anything & take picture of truck & go. This behavior was not expected from officer as the normal people are paying rs.430 for tow of bike as they brought new truck using lifting techniques but they don't​ care for bikes still. The thing is not of rs.5 but the thing is they should be

Hello mumbai traffic police. There is a traffic policeman at hughes road new york cafe signal who is not only illiterate but extremely rude and violent. He is new in this area, making up his own rules and being a nuisance to hard-working office goers. We tried to talk to him politely but of no use. Seeking your immediate attention and help to this situation. Thank you in advance.

Dear sir, we are really facing problem of traffic due to double parking on service road. Due to traffic our children school bus not able to reach at our area on time. Now they are requesting to come at no rush area to drop our children to school bus. We are leaving at tembipada 605 last stop and there is so much traffic due to bothside parking.
I am requesting you to take some action against this other wise not able to walk on road safely.

I have submitted a complaint previously and still no action has been taken. There is a serious problem of illegal parking of trucks and other vehicles on road. The people are smoking weed in the night and are causing a threat and violating right to peaceful life.
Also the street light is not working since a month making it difficult to identify the criminals, stoners and other addicts

Sir lot of taxi drivers are looting the public in lokmanya tilak terminus at kurla. Taxi mh bd 1169 the prepaid taxi at ltt has looted a passenger of rs.550/- just to take him from mahim to andheri after ran for pre paid fare of rs.260/- from kurla to mahim. Normal fare come only rs.250 or max rs.300. Please take strict action against taxis at ltt. Your strict action in the matter is highly appreciated

I am ashutosh tripathi, working for a multi national company. This today's incident dated 9th june, 2017 at around 07:15 pm to :07:20 pm at teen haath naka traffic signal police station below flyover. I was in my car and passed the signal on the right signal light at teen haath naka but this traffic policeman named s k ghivare stopped me below the flyover claiming i have stepped signal and there was another car just ahead of me but he didnt stop him. When i said i have not committed any mistake he said i showed hand to stop and give me your license. I tried to tell him that i also have relatives in police, then he took me to traffic police station in-charge. He told me that we will see in cctv and if traffic policeman is right then i will have to pay rs 1200 fine although official fine for traffic signal stepping is rs 200 because they will charge me for dangerous driving as well, which
Was not the case. We went to control room and saw the footage and it was clear that i did not break the signal and there was another car in front of me but despite that they said i am at fault and need to pay fine. The station in charge also came and tried to prove that i was at fault although it was visible in cctv that both of them were wrong. I have paid the fine and i have receipt of rs 1200/- with charge and sections mentioned which are not valid in my case. They have taken unethical money from me out of their ego specially station in-charge. The money should be return plus both should apologize. I am ready to meet traffic police commissioner in this context. The following are details of the receipt

Our director is 90 year old he visit office with car with the driver everyday, our driver is all the time in the car and our car don't block the road.

Our office is located at sorabji santuk lane ground floor off dr cawasji harmonji street behind diamond guest house, near dhobitalao market, marine lines 400002.

Sir we will be very grateful that if police authorities can help so that our car can come in and go out once the scooters are penalized they will learn a lesson

I parked my car in no parking and my car was towed and i was later fined rs.660/- but i saw in your app saying fine is rs.200/- despite me telling constable about the fine of rs200 he told me to pay rs 660 saying it as service charge and towing charge. They took 400rs as extra towing charge and 60rs as service charge.

I would like to know if this fine collected was correct or not?
