Mumbai Traffic Police — Complaint against Unauthorized Double or Illegal Parking Near School

I am writing to you because I would like to make an official complaint. I live in an area where the roads are small and parking is limited to the people who live here. I would like to make a complaint against the Cars/Tempo drivers who always park on both sides of the road and block up the complete road and which is in front of Sion Koliwada Municipal Corporation High School, Sardar Nagar - 3, Mumbai 400 022.

I am not the only person and this is not the first time that you have had a complaint sent to you about the same problem. This is not just a problem for the people who live here, it for the travelers that use the road daily they have to spend thirty minutes or more just to get them to move their bus/trucks.

Footpaths are hijacked by hawkers and roads are hijacked by illegal and unauthorized vehicles parking. Every day people are getting hit by bikers but since injuries are minor nobody has gone to the police station to report the same. Few taxi drivers and people parking the vehicles are saying that they are paying bribes to park here to bmc officials and traffic department. We hope this is not true and just an allegation. But if this is true this must be investigated as well.

People get late for work or appointments. Imagine if it was a police car or ambulance and they couldn’t get past fast enough. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take action. As this is a serious matter.
