Mumbai Traffic Police — Fine levied for Parking | |
Location- Chandralok, Napean Sea Road, south Mumbai Date and Time- 31 July 2021, 10:30 am We had parked in a lane on the left hand side of the road. There was no indicator or sign for “No Parking”. Within 5 minutes of parking we got a notification that we had been levied a fine for Rs. 200. When we went back we found the office and checked with him on why we had been fined. He said this was a no parking zone. When we said there was no board, he mentioned that it was broken and very rudely said this was not his job to repair board signs. When we asked how we would know this was a no parking zone, he didn’t say anything. This is the service and patronage of Mumbai police? Shameful troubling senior citizens like this.
