Mumbai Traffic Police — wrong e-challan fine of rs 500

Yesterday morning on the 31st of august 2019, my father got a message from mumbai police saying that i've violated traffic rules, i had to pay rs 500 for not wearing a helmet as it was written in the note which my father had received. I saw the image which they had as an evidence and it was not my scooter at all it was different it's colour was silver and the colour of my scooter is mat grey also, the number on it's plate was mh 04 jw 8280 which the police thought was mh 04 jw 6280 which is my number plate. Unfortunately, i had to pay a fine of rs 500 for doing nothing wrong. I request the mumbai police to give me my refund back as soon as possible. This is so careless from their side.
