Subject: Urgent complaint regarding stray dogs on the main road and inside the society
Respected Sir/Madam,
This is an anonymous complaint to bring to the attention of the concerned authorities the serious and increasing problem of stray dogs on the main road as well as inside the society premises.
A large number of stray dogs regularly gather on the main road and within the society. Their presence has become a serious nuisance and safety concern for residents, pedestrians, children, senior citizens and two-wheeler riders.
The situation is also leading to frequent fights and arguments on the road on a daily basis, particularly when stray dogs chase vehicles, bark at or attack people, or create disturbances among residents and passers-by. These repeated incidents are creating tension and disturbance in the area and may result in a serious accident or physical altercation if the situation is not addressed.
There are also concerns regarding:
Dogs chasing two-wheelers and pedestrians.
Aggressive behaviour and the possibility of dog-bite incidents.
Groups of dogs gathering on the main road and inside the society.
Continuous barking and disturbance, particularly during night hours.
Children and senior citizens being afraid to walk freely in the area.
Daily arguments and conflicts arising due to the stray dog problem.
Unhygienic conditions and waste being scattered around areas where dogs gather.
The issue has now gone beyond a minor nuisance and has become a public safety and neighbourhood law-and-order concern.
We therefore request the concerned authority to urgently inspect the main road and society premises and take appropriate action as per applicable laws and animal welfare regulations, including sterilisation and vaccination, identification and appropriate handling of aggressive dogs, and measures to control the recurring congregation of stray dogs.
We request the authorities to please take immediate action before any serious accident, dog-bite incident or major fight occurs.
Since this complaint is being submitted anonymously due to concerns regarding unnecessary disputes among residents, no personal details or contact number are being provided.
Kindly treat this matter as urgent and take necessary action in the interest of public safety and peaceful living in the locality.
