This is to bring for your kind attention that the locality i put up in is getting highly polluted because of the negligence of the garbage collection. It's been more than two weeks the garbage is not removed and spreaded on the road. The area has got badly infected with malaria.There is no proper garbage bin where it should be thrown, So people dump it on the road.
Kindly look into the matter ASAP before the bad effect getting infected in the city. If the problem doesnt get solved soon i'll call media to highlight the matter.

Garbages are dumped on EVR periyar salai mainroad in Palvakkam, Chennai 600041 The residents near by gets affected by serious infections and many suffer from foul smelling odor. This shows the poor maintenance by the panchayat & Ward members. Even doing personal complaints to the panchayat is not helping.
Really dont know what to do??????????????

The only solution to the above problem is door to door garbage collection.

I am the resident of 4th cross street, II lay our Lakshmi Hayagreva Nagar, Adambakkam Chennai-88. Yesturday I have registered a compliant with complaint number 894CDA. But the response is very poor. The agents have removed only a part of the garbage. The garbage bin is over flowing and the garbage is spilling all over the roads. The garbage bin is being placed near the corporation Children Park. The garbage is not being removed daily and the roads are not sweeped for more than 3 months.

Please remove the garbage bin from this place since the children coming to play in the ground are infected. The foul smell affects the nearby residence.

The Garbage Box placed in No. 25 Kalki Krishnamoorthy Salai, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai 600041, (Adjacent to E.J. Automobiles, Balasaniyasi Kalyanamandapam and Trust) is a very big obstruct the ECR- SH-58 HIGHWAY traffic. More accidents are happened due to placement of Garbage Basket on the lesser middle of the road. Daily MTC buses and heavy transport is plying on this road hence accidents are happened on daily basis. To avoid this kindly place the Garbage basket on the platform or any other place which is suitable to the public without disturbance to the ongoing heavy traffic please.

I am a resident of 64 Sooparrapan street, Triplicane. Garbage is dumped and not removed for the past one week. I think Triplicane is the worst maintained area in the Chennai city. I see garbage dumped every where and the dump is not cleared on regular basis.

The garbage should be collected from door to door and not allowed to dump as people wish. There are two parts to this issue:
1. Garbage is not cleared regulary
2. Evey house should keep the garbage in front of their house . Should not dump at common location which affects other residents.

Please take action at the earliest.

Kottivakkam Panchayat — Garbages and dust in ECR

The ECR is rapidly becoming a place of garbage, waste and dust. Especially in Kottivakam, each street entrance starts with a collection of grabage spreading around the road.

It is very horrible during the rainy season. children are going to school by walking on the garbage since the full road occupies garbage in some streets.

There is a chance of spreading diseases easily in this kind of areas.
Even in the main roads of ECR (Kottivakkam, Palavakkam), garbage are not cleaned/ removed.

Garbage is not removed in many areas in Velachery. Entire Velachery is now looking like a garbase dumping area. What is the chennai corporation doing???????/

Garbage is not removed in E.K. GURU STREET in PERIAMET which is hardly haf km from Chennai corporation HQ. Only once in 10 days garbage removal staff comes to collect the garbage putting the general public in hardship. 60% of the street is filled with cargo and the residents cannot walk in this street because of garbage and its odour. Because of garbage vehciles cannot enter this street properly. Now people has started urinating in this place leading to diseases and it has beacome breeding ground for mosqitoes.

I am residing at devi karumariamman koil extn nagar at golden avenue street velachery. here garbage is lying in the road itself and it is not cleared and it is very unhygienic and having very adour smell and so much mosquito are producing . i am suffering the nuisance of non clearance of garbage for the past one week. against the daily removed system which was some wat good, in the last foiur months the garbage is cleared occasionally only. this is emanating stink, , and breeds mosquitoes causing misery to the occumpants in my house
as one ofthe family, in this locality who contibuted to the change ofguard and governance in the corporation, we are now compelled to think that the old governance was a million times better.

Yes, every street in Dhandeeswaram, Seethapathy Nagar, Ayodhay Colony are stinking.
These places are considered as prime residential location in Velachery.
There should be urgence of need to clear all this garbage. The pathetic situvation is such stinking garbage is present even near to some playschools where it may affect the kids.

Hi Am a resident of LIC colony fist main Velachery...The garbage here lies down on road and inspite of two garbage bins lying broken unused on the other side of road. CAnt there be a solution for this. With public buses coming this way, before residential houses and garbage on the other side..how do we expect people to walk on road...besides there are open sewages too. Garbage has been not cleared for the past few days and that was thrashed to entire street by dogs & Cows. Problem here that am in the border of Kolapakkam & Gergumbakkam panchayat region, everytime cleaning workers from both region complaining about that garbage will be cleared by the other panchayat team.

Hello,
I reside in Saidapet, Srinagar colony, temple avenue, Sriragh apt.
The garbage has not been cleared for the past 3 days and the whole place is messed up due to stray dogs and crows. The garbage collector (Siva) was on leave and no alternate was provided.
The person Siva came this morning after his long leave and said he would collect/ clear the garbage but has not done yet.

I will place it on the road if not collected tomorr5.

Secondly the lady who sweeps our street. ( Temple Avenue ) similarly went on leave last week and the whole street was totally dirty and filled with dry leaves.
My question is.. Why was there no replacement sent for these absence??
How do you propose to manage these absentiesm?

I wish to meet the authorities concerned and looking forward for a good resolution.

we are suffering very badly by d sewage water in the nesapakkam area, smell very badlly, over flow, came inside d house, ...v 've given d complaints to the municipal office here near to k. k nagar ...still now there 's no severe action abt this...'m request you to take this matter as a serious one, and plz do work for ous...we are residenting in annai sathya nagar, nesapakkam, chennai.

I am one of the frequenters who uses chennai suburban train daily from central station. Thousands of people who commute in buses, private vehicles and also visit chennai from within and outside India daily, have to pass or cross poonamalee high road, i.e. from GH to Egmore side; Broadway/Paris to Mount Road side. While doing so people who wait/come/go to other places from the Park station or cross the bridge to go to Mount road had to suffer the stench/foul smell coming from cooum channel since many people urinate/defeacte there. It is difficult to stand there even for a few minutes. I on behalf of the people humbly request the concerned authorities to take necessary steps to clean the area which gives an adverse impression to not only chennaites but also people visiting from other places.

Laying of new roads / relaying of existing ones are being done. I have noticed that most of the time the heavy machinery employed break or cut the existing water lines / EB lines /telephone lines and sewage lines multiplying the common man's problems and those of the civic authorities as well. When requested to attend there is a lot of grumbling and discontent and the workers rightly ask the wrong common man how many such problems can we go on attending? When sewege line leaks are not repaired and water leaks are also not attended to... there is contamination...water and sewage flows on the roads and there is a lot of problem after the rains not to mention mosquito bites, malaria, dengue, typhoid etc.Rain water harvesting turns into a tragedy since the water turns unpotable as well as it seeps through layers of sewage including chemicals used for washing and cleaning. All this is because the breakages are literally swept under the newly laid roads!! I shudder to have a look at the overall underground picture in Chennai City! There is open garbage above and closed filth below! Doesn't our city deserve something better from us?

We are citizens of 54 Erulappan Street, Sowcartpet, Chennai Inspite of complaints of blocked sewer line for a weak, the problem is still not resolved and keeps coming up every 2nd day after the clearnce. Can you please clear this once & for all.

Stray Dogs to be removed
We have atleast 10 stray dogs in our colony that keeps braking all day long.Its so difficult for us to get back to home during the night time after our shifts. Also during the night shift, when we sleep in the day time, they are causing a lot of disturbance.

I am staying in MMDA Colony Arumbakkam. Street dogs are really creating panic as well as scaring children. Doing birth control to the dog is not the only situation. Remember after doing birth control has blue cross taught the dog not to bite? So what Blue Cross does is not correct. They should either poison the dog or take care by themselves instead of doing birth control and leaving the dog back in the same street. My address is:

There are more than 20 stray dogs in and around Olympia tech park, Sundhar Nagar, Guindy, Chennai 32, there must be more than 20 hostels in that area with close to 10, 000 employees from different states residing. These stray dogs are chasing people in and around that locality and causing grave damage to Chennai's image.

Doing birth control to the dog is not the only solution. Remember after doing birth control has blue cross taught the dog not to bite? So what Blue Cross does is not correct. They should take the dog with them instead of doing birth control and leaving the dog back in the same street.

I am SAKTHI residing in 37, HARIDOSS 2nd, street, kolathur Chennai-600099.
My family settled in this locality 3 years back. Our street have a drainage system that will always overflow, making good place for mosquitoes, flies to multiply, causing so many infections and diseases to spread among the residents. We have complained so many times, but nothing happened positive yet.
Since the areas in our locality only have mud roads, with this drainage water spread across, makes these roads really unfit to commute.
With this condition we are struggling to live there. I request the Chennai corporation to take some immediate action to avail us with good roads and properly laid drainage system, which makes our locality a better place to live...

I am residing at old no.13, T.P.Koil first lane, Triplicane, chennai 600 005. The water does not get
drained out in rains, in fact, rain water is not absorbed by drainage on road and drainage in houses
overflows because of that. Road is being flooded and the water enters into the houses because of
poor road system., i.e. roads were constructed in such a way that the level is up and entire water
enters into the house even for a 10 minute rain. we suffer a lot because, drainage is not absorbed
properly in the houses, during such times and also street water is also gushing into the houses.

Either additional drainage manhole is to be provided or the road should be laid properly. This year
laying of roads has not sofar been done. I request you to do the needful before the ensuing rain.
Please treat it as urgent.

Hello sir, Am Srinivasan M[protected] from Manikandapuram, Nazik Nagar, which is CMDA approved layout area along with allotted park (Empty land) and Water Tank. In this place, last 2 weeks before we received very lesser Cm. of rain. Due to that, merely 2.5ft water has retention in our area. Out of that, so many and riskiest mosquitos are arised, which may spread Dengu, Kalara and Malaria. Moreover, different types of critical insects and many patterns of dangerous snakes are surrounded. Roads are very worst in panchayat board bus stop area and oil mill stop area., Very hard to drive bikes cars and not even able to walk on rainy time, Govt started constructing road and they stop in middle, According to my knowledge roads are not all good for past 2 yr.

I have made complain to CM Cell vide ref 2015/847645/CF dated 25.10.2015. I am residing in Muthu Mohad street, Puzhuthivakkam., The waste water channel has been open in our entrance which is in Muthu Mohamad street. Now the said canal was enlarged to half of the road by corporation when the water was lagging whereby the connecting passage was broken and we are not able to come out of our house. The situation exists through out our Muthu Mohamad street. More than a month has passed when the residents have taken their vehicle out from our houses due to this open passage of waste water canal. There is no response from the corporation when we approach them in person. Is this the penalty imposed by the Corporation for a regular tax payer. We are the only street in our area where water logging was very much during the recent flood. It is purely because of Corporations action. We want immediate action to set right the canal in war footing time and help us to take the vehicles out from our houses. It is needless to mention that our support if need be at any time is available to achieve this. We are very much adjacent to Corporation building where officials can easily notice all the problems / problems known to all officials. We are aware that we cannot expect hi-tech city comforts but basic amenities can be furnished to residents. Pl do the needful.

once you get down from Pallikaranai flyover towards Tambaram, starting from Balaji Dental College till Medavakkam Junction there are lot of encroached petty shops, small houses, restaurants & buildings on both sides of the road. Actually it is 100 feet road (50 feet on both sides), now 20 ft on both the sides are completely encroached and now it is only acting as 60 feet road. This is causing heavy traffic during morning (8-11AM) and in evenings (6-8.30PM).

Every morning you can see lot of lorries carrying drinking water & sewage water. Do not know from where they are getting that much water & to where they are supplying it.

Government has to take immediate action on this encroachment.

We are living in South Kasarath tho tam st, Aminjikarai, Chennai -29. Here road cleaning is not good and also there is no dust bins near by. Please provide dust bins for each and every street, so that it is useful for all the street people. Because of this wastage in road, more mosquites are coming in the evening. Recently for corporation water, government people put the water pipe under the road. After that road is going under very worst condition. Its like 200% worst. Rain water is not going out. Its hanging here and there. We are not able to walk in that street. Water is hanging in all the places. Please make some arrangements for this problem. Here more childrens are living. Please take care.

I am living in Perambur Venus Market street for a long time now. There is a corporation girls higher secondary school in this street. Two Garbage bins are placed near the school and is causing a serious health hazard to the kids in the school. Also, garbage from the market (Could be wasted scraps from the butcher shop and fish market) is dumped in the bin which emits an unbearable odor. Children are finding it difficult to cross the bin and enter the school. Please take necessary action and remove these Garbage bins from the area.

complaint from ward no 119 under kodambakkam bridge. near heoro hona show room always over crowded . vehicles are parked by taxis show room fellows caterers difficult to move out. water stagnationis always presentif it could be attended the area will become conducive for living in and around in the 3or 4 stret drainage block is always a problem. asfter clearing huge blocks of rubbish and stones are covered . the road becomes uneven and very difficlt for vehicular movements
cleaning agencies are very irregular. for the past 3dauys they are absent. as the area is very narrow with crowded streets, by not cleaning mosquitoes breed. even rats are also seen with frequent movements

my complaints, the chennai beach station platform is very rubbish to see.As many days having this problem without cleanness.Immediately, should remove this all dusts from beach, because its making the seak to travellers by this unhealthy maintanance.And other problem, in some areas of railway station, the rail track is very rusted.(Particullary in chennai meenambakkam staion). So please take action quickly without late.

complain — Drainage system very bad too bad pls help

This is to inform you that about the blocked drainage outside our area in Om Vihar Phase V Uttam Nagar New Delhi 110059 road full of dirty water infront on roads streets .it is damaging the road too.it also increasing the risk of malaria in the vicinity.

Still also there is no sewege system & water lines in our area facing lots of difficulties pls look into this matter & revert pls

I am residing at 23.Bazar street, Nesapakam, Chennai.

My name is G.Senthil Kumaar i am tenant for this house.Next to my residence one more mini flat is there, their drainage water is leaking from long period, we also personally told to them to take care, but no body is taking interest to clear the drainage its overflowing inbetween our residecne and their residence thers a small gap for both the buildings.

Due to this drainage block in our Washbasin when ever we open the tap for our usage we are getting very bad odur in this, we are unable to use this, not only for our usage it will cause disease i think so, kindly look into this a urengcy and do the solution.

I have tried over phone in the program of Mayor direct telecast, i am unable to get their telecon line.

So i am complainding through net.

I hope the action will take place.

we r from thananikachalam nagar kolathur residents, we r having some problem in clearing the septic tank since the government has undertaken the issue of drainage. they have dug the road everywhere n so we r having the problem in getting the septic tank cleared n moreover the private transports r ignoring to come n get things done for us . we r with this problem from past 2 months n havr been calling this people to do the favour but they say they will come but have not responded positiovely we have complained to madhavaram municipality, the sanitary officer say he will do it n send the minivan to clear it but till date we have not seen any remedy. for this we have spent so much in getting the road set right for this people to come with their vehicle but all in vain as they r just not ready to do anything .when it rains it becomes still more worse, there is lot of smell from this as it is leaking in the road, we r just having compliants from our neighbourhood.since kids n old people r there we r worried it would be disease causing, now also we r trying to this people but not yet come over the problem . it is a flat of 6 owners, all r trying but everything in vain.hope with this mail atleast some one would try n solve our problem by telling to the concerned authoritiers.

On 1.9.2010 at midnight we had heared some sound near our home. On seeing that without any officers present, my drainage pipe had broken by the contractor. The water overflowing and staged in the street. we and the public suffered from that time.

We Hope that corporation will take immediate action in this regard.
