Subject: Complaint regarding increasing menace of street dogs in our locality
Respected Sir/Madam,
I would like to bring to your kind attention a serious issue concerning the increasing number of street dogs in the vicinity of our locality. These stray dogs, which roam around the street near my house, have become a matter of concern for the residents due to their aggressive behaviour and frequent chasing of pedestrians, school-going children, and elderly people.
Over the past few weeks, the situation has worsened. The dogs often bark loudly at night and sometimes even engage in fights among themselves, causing disturbance and fear among the residents. Some incidents have also been reported where these dogs have tried to bite or attack passers-by. This has created an unsafe environment, especially for children and senior citizens.
We, the residents of the area, humbly request the MCD to take immediate and appropriate action. We kindly request an inspection of the area, sterilization of the dogs, and relocation of aggressive animals as per rules under the Animal Birth Control (ABC) program. Regular monitoring by the concerned department would be greatly appreciated.
I hope that necessary steps will be taken at the earliest to ensure safety, hygiene, and peace in the locality.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
