Subject: unauthorized installation of mobile tower and other ancillary structure on the terrace of building no 650 called (Sharaf manzil) (Rivendell house), situated on jaganath shankar seth road, 2nd dhobitalao, marine lines, mumbai - 400002 Dear sir, In reference to the above subjected building we the undersigned tenants hereby wish to inform you that the building is an old structure constructed more than 80 years ago in the due course of its service life the building has developed various age related distress in the supporting rcc members hence the building was structurally audited by mhada appointed consultant and a fitting audit report is already forwarded to the repair board office c3 division suggesting the necessary structural repairs. Inspite of all these measures taken by the board and the tenants of the building it was to our great dismay that the current landlord mr rakesh jain, mobile no ([protected]) intends to install a mobile tower and the ancillary structure at the terrace level above the fourth floor. It be noted no permission or confirmation is sought from the tenants of the building in this regard, also no structural audit report is procured by the said landlord suggesting the safety and stability of the building to carry the additional load of this mobile towers, moreover on the grounds of health hazards that are likely to the well-being of the said tenants due to the mobile tower is not acceptable to them, besides there is a kindergarten (K. G.) school in the building across called snowflakes these emissions transmitted can be very harmful to these small kids and also to the several senior citizens living in the building, hence the undersigned tenants are objecting to such installation which are a hazard to the safety of the building and also the life of the tenants. On the 13th of november 2018, one mr richard barretto visited the building on behalf of reliance jio and informed us that the weight of the mobile tower and its ancillaries would be approximately 800 kg to 1000 kg which will be an additional weight to an already old and weak building.
