Respected sir/ madam,
Kakinada is a smart city located on the eastern coast of andhra pradesh. This city is merely a few meters above the sea level and is prone to flooding during rainy seasons and frequent cyclones. Here the residencies are constructed with a slight elevation above the ground level to avoid flood water entering the ground or stilt floor. City doesn’t have an under ground drainage system and the waste water is drained by surface drain canal system along the boundary walls of the residences which are constructed by the local municipal authorities. Residents are not provided with paved passages to cross the surface drain canals instead they build their own means of pavements to pass over the drain canals and to take their vehicles in and out of the buildings.
We live in a residential apartment which is built on a raised elevation with stilt floor comprising of parking lot and a watch man quarter. Our apartment houses 18 families along with a watch man’s family and all are having a two wheeler or a car. Our apartment is having multiple entrances on the boundary wall with gates for easy access of residents and their vehicles aided by paved passages (Ramps) built for all entrances.
Recently the passage ramps were demolished by municipal authorities without any notice or warning saying these are unauthorized constructions. We, the residents would like to reiterate that ramps are constructed by every house/ commercial property owner with their own money only for convenience and no one would like to invest if such amenity is provided by government/ municipality. Now the residents are facing inconvenience to go out of these gates and to take out their vehicles from the parking lot and forced to leave their vehicles on the road side. These ramps which were demolished by the authorities exists on west side of the building and on a dead end road having only few residencies where no traffic is involved.
We, the residents, request the authorities to kindly look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest to resolve this problem and request an appropriate compensation to rebuild the demolished ramps. Rebuilding of these demolished ramps (Total of 5 ramps) is estimated at rs. 250000/-, and we request you to do the needful in getting this compensation from the concerned departments/ authorities.

We are from 67-11-3b house from kakinada, lal bahdur nagar main road. Recently, smart city project started drainage re-construction at my north of house. This activity spoiled in and around cleanliness of my house. The drainage was too big and that needs to be covered.

My request is kakinada municipal authorities are requested to address the in and around the home cleanliness and cover the open drainage

We have received property tax notice where i have raised my concerns previously however it was never addressed.

Charged drainage charges where no drainage for our premise/street and i'm paying taxes for nothing that is been used for 5-6 years.
Charged water tax where no water/water taps were provided to us.

Could you please advise on what basis have you charged this to...

We request you this is the 8th time complaining about street stray dogs menace causing harm to residents of our street 6-4-16 munsif street suryaraopeta near ii town saibaba temple backside kindly take immediate action to control dogs our drains are overflowing with mud waters accumulating in front of our house because of construction work is going on in our street gravel kept on the road side it is falling in the drain and drains are overflowing and mud water stagnated in front of house causing much inconvenience to us kindly take immediate action to resolve this problem

This is to bring to the notice to kakinada municipal corporation that there are too many stray dogs roaming in the park. People are being afraid if any of the dogs could harm anyone as many children come to park in the morning and evening times. People are also finding it difficult to take their daily walks in the park. The whole park is littered by dogs. There are also people who are feeding dogs inside the park. When asked about the same, they start arguing.

Kindly request you to take the necessary action.

When the switching on the street lights at the evening the pole is in exactly to our apartment is giving mild shock. Please solve the problem immediatly to avoid any damage. We are the residents of kilim vari street, ramakrishna rao peta, when the rain fallen on road, the roads are completely filled with rain water and the drainage water also mixed with that. Even this water came in to my houses. There is no chance to step out from the house's. Some children's is there & some pregnent ladies is there. Since so many years, drainage is over flowing on streets, which accumulates, musquitoes, even for small rains, streets are blocking with flood, same issue was raised earlier also, people are suffering with these problems, but the kmc is not responding till now.

Could you please resolve this problem as soon as possible. We hope positive response from your end.

We are the residents of rajendra nagar, srinivasa nagar bank colony, south west corner area of park, back side street of our house is kept pending for developing new draine, since so many years, drainage is over flowing on streets, which accumulates, musquitoes, pigs, dogs. No flooring of drains, even for small rains, streets are blocking with flood, same issue was raised earlier also, people are suffering with these problems, but the kmc is undertaken smart city works to paint walls in main roads.

How it will become smart city, unless the streets are maintain highgeen.

I think kmc people is required a serious health issue in their family, if they want to take up this seriously

Understand basic needs of citizens and go forward to smart city.

You can understand this is our burning issues, as this not a port city, it's a musquitoes city, last week one school girl was died due to dengue fewer.

Take it seriously and take action for flooring drainages.

Behind my residence there someone is growing cows and buffalos from them a lot of dung and waste is coming and that was not cleaning and from the last few days there is heavy rainfall due to all of these are large number of mosquitos are growing, when we say to the particular owner and clean those dung they are not even bothering and they are staying near the cattle. Due to change of climate there is lot of misqitos and viral fevers in my area those fever resulting in to dengue, so please take a necessary action.

Please remove the dust bin put before my house door no, 64-4-11 water tank road pratapnagar kakinada -4. This was placed 20 days before from durgaia thota in view of vinayaka chavithi pendal. Now i request you to shift the same to original place as this is main road for treasury colony and pigs and cows also dogs bringing garbage to the roads, which is very dangerous for health of nearby residents. Kindly do the needful.

Respected sir, here i informed to you in our colony drainages are newly laid and some people are putting stones infront of their house to not come the drainage waste to their house and also they construct a wall on the drainage to increase their lan space and it creates the disturbance in drainage system in flow and drainage waste strucks infront of my house and for these it's produces mosquitoes and childrens are getting viral fevers.. Soo please take these seriously sir.. Thank you

I'm sudarshan chakravarthy here my family is facing an issue, our street members are directly flushing their toilets waste directly to the drainage
Because of that the drainage was stucking due to that we can't able to sit in house and we can't even breathe properly.

We are experiencing extreme nuisance by stray dogs like biting, invading houses, terrifying people in the neighborhood etc. People are going under extreme discomfort with dealing of this situation. So we urge you to please help my neighborhood with this issue.

There's alot of menace being created on our small roads in vinukonda vari street. They are putting all the non sence on roads by saying a reconstruction is being done in their home and obstructing half of the road. The same was done almost one week ago and the trespassers were severely affected. I would like to bring to your attention about the houses that live inside a small lane and do all non sense and put these stuff on roads. So that the houses that are adjacent to these roads and drianges on which these bricks and other dematerialised stuff are put are severely affected. Kindly resolve the issue since they are not even taking up all these even after weeks of completion of this work.

If we ask why we should give she says, "if you don't give i don't take garbage of your house."i don't know why these people are demanding like this. Government is paying their salary but even though they are demanding
