Hi,

The public is facing severe problems due to the increased number of stray dogs in my area. There have been few cases of dog bites too. People returning late from office are often chased and harrased by these dogs.

Please take action before its too late.

Recently there has been a sharp increase in the number of street dogs in our locality. We are facing all sorts of trouble starting from dirty roads to cases of dog bites. As well as there chasing people for various reasons... N there barking at late night spcly during exam create more n more problems... I would like to request the authorities to kindly take an action regarding this.& provide us with a street dogs catcher as soon as possible before some one got a bite from one of the dogs. There has been considerable amount of increase in stray dogs in my area (Street number 134, action area 1b, opposite of kidjee, new town, kolkata 700156). People are getting harassed by these dogs.

There have been few cases of dog bites also in this area. Please take immediate action.

If possible then try to resolve this issue at surrounding areas too near street number 134, action area 1b, new town

I am a resident of 5a, alimuddin street kolkata-700016. There is a dog in my area. He is badly injured and has some fungal infection around his neck which has a very bad smell. Its been few days he has started coming to sit near my house door and has spilled the walls with blood and foul smell. I need urgent help asap. Hopefully i get help

For last couple of years our area drainage system always over flow. We are complained several times the scavenger comes and do their work which is on a temporary basis because after 1 or 2 weeks it start again overflowing.
Regular complaint in the office for the new drains but in vain.
Its a humble request to look into this problem seriously & do the needful.

Hi, myself md musa khan a resident of ward number 20, 283/10 belilious road howrah - 711101. The issue i would like to bring to the notice of the concern authority is about the high population of stray dogs spreading dirt all across the locality has raised all bars and these dogs also barks whole night disturbing the resident nearby. Recently the dogs have turned furious/mad and bites people passing by and kids playing nearby. Plz make arrangment to capture these dogs and would suggest to transport to mizoram as it is considered to be a good diet for them. This will also help to increase revenue for the state, which can be use in social cause or in nation building.

There are many street dogs in my area, and they are having puppies which is leading to too many dogs and puppies in a particular area. It is very difficult to even walk on the foot path as the dogs are sleeping on the foot path. At night they even bark and fight with each other. It is a problem to walk on the road late night as they keep barking at you in a very aggressive manner which will make anyone scared. It is not safe to keep so many street dogs as they can spread diseases and can even bite anyone. I hope that the corporation takes the necessary steps to remove them as soon as possible.

I am a resident of durgabari road, madhyamgram bazar, north 24pgs, kolkata 700130. For the past few months our locality is haunted by street dogs. They've become a menace in this area. Everytime they see a person coming or going they start barking and sometimes chasing. Very recently there was a kid who got bitten by one of them. Though there are some dog lovers who insist upon animal rights, but they don't take any responsibilities, due to which we all are suffering. This area includes durgabari road and baikanthudev road.
Please sir we need your help. Please send your street dog catchers squad as soon as possible to catch these dogs.

This has with reference to my earlier complaint dated 10th december, 2018. I am the caretaker of 6, k. S. Roy road, kolkata 700001 and my mobile numbers are [protected] and [protected].in my above complaint i stated that round the clock many dogs roaming on the ground floor of the above premises. This become a problem for whole of the advocates of hon'ble calcutta high court and many other employees attached to them. I once again request you to look after this problem and i suggest you should send some dog catchers in and clear off immediately. Please treat this as urgent.

I am a resident of "shapoorji pallonji sukhobrishti housing complex", action area iii, newtown, kolkata, west bengal 700135. Recently there has been a sharp increase in the number of street dogs in our locality. One of my family member got bitten by steet dog 3 days back. When i went to the doctor, already 3 people were sitting there for dog bite case.in 1 evening 3 cases of dog-bite. You can imagine the scenario. Now we have to think 10 times if we want to go for a walk in the society. I would like to request the authorities to kindly take an action regarding this.

I am getting mental stress due to some stray dogs in my street. These dogs repeatedly tear my scooter seat. This has happened more than five times. I am unable to park my scooter in my parking space within building premises.

I want the stray dogs catching squad to come and catch those dogs. Please help me on this issue. Now the dogs are targeting my car covers and various other objects kept on the ground floor of the building

Sir, i am the caretaker of 6a, kiran shankar roy road, kolkata - 700001. Throughout the whole day there are many dogs roaming on the ground floor of the above address. This become a problem for whole of staffs and officers of this building. Please look after the problem and i suggest that you should send some dog catchers and clear them off. The number of street dogs in the jorsanko locality has gone up. They have become a menace. Apart from the filthiness they cause, they try to chase people in the day time. Even more bothersome is their disturbance every night. Around 1 am each night they start fighting and howling. Thus continues all through the night till dawn. It has become difficult for people, especially the sick and elderly to sleep soundly. Kindly do something about this.

Our area has become very much populated by lots of dogs and they are also breeding like crazy and always polluting the area by their poops and non stop bickering and barking day and night. It has become very uneasy to live in this kind o[censored]nhealthy environment.

They shout the whole night and we cannot sleep. Kindly help us and send some dog catchers. We are facing all sorts of trouble starting from dirty roads. And every night dog barking continue. I would like to request the authorities to kindly take an action regarding this.

One of the most prime and posh locality kankurgachi/phoolbagan is full of dirt and garbage thrown all over the roads. There are no footpaths to walk on as all have been occupied by illegal shops and vendors. So much of pollution and garbage that it's become impossible to walk and stay in this area. No dustbins at all. And all house garbage is thrown open on the roads which are not picked up by anyone. There is no space to walk as all have been occupied by small road side restraunts, vendors, vegetable fruit sellers. Its so polluted that we cough all the year around. Allvthe garbage is on the roads with no maintenance anywhere. It's become worse than burrabazar or howrah whereas we pay so much of taxes and everything. We are getting no living standards from the government.in small bylqnes there are both side parkings ehich makes it even worse to commute. There are illegal big vans and trucks parked all over. Hardly one side cars can pass. Its so saddening when we cities like indore and then we see kolkata. Pls take immediate action.
