Municipal Corporation Of Thane — Complaint about the illegal refuse dump in the locality

I would like to draw your attention to a harrowing problem in our locality. People of the area as well as people from outside the locality have converted a part of our public road into a refuse dump.

We, the residents of the area are facing myriads of problems due to this. The area is a favourite haunt of street dogs. They fight among themselves and the pandemonium created is unbearable. The fight makes them very aggressive and they tend to growl at the people walking along the road. The stink produced is gagging the nearby residents.

The rotting garbage is a breeding ground for flies and mosquitoes. This poses high health risks.

We would be extremely grateful if you look into the matter and arrange for daily or at least a weekly removal of the garbage by the municipality. Cameras should be installed to catch the culprits and exemplary punishments should be meted out to them. I hereby humbly request you to look into my suggestions and realize them so that the residents of this area are rescued from this difficult situation.
