Municipal Corporation Of Thane — Open burning of Waste

Address:Gawand Baug, Upvan, Thane

Gulmohar-Upvan CHS is openly burning collected waste in their premises which smokes the entire neighbourhood. I believe good air quality is everyone's right.

Can the TMC not help them set up a composter / small biogas plant to treat this waste? Additionally, it could also help manage organic waste lessening the burden on landfills (and the TMC).

Request you to stop this unchecked and open burning of waste.

Anunagar society, waghbil, ghodbandar, Thane West is openly burning dry waste on common road.
Every 5-7th day we suffers from dry waste burning and smoke in the area.
Please take action soon as possible.
Air quality in waghbil area is reducing day by day.
It's a serious concern. Thane muncipal corporation should take action soon as possible.
