I. Hiren P saraiya paid property tax for two years 2018-19 & 2019-20 for Rs.15000/- for new new construction building. At time of name transfer all documents along with agreement copy is given but no use as on till date same amount of dues is shown.

Updated by hiren2kin This is as per above mentioned subject I here by state that I Paid Property Tax Rs.15281/- for F.Y 2018-19 & F.Y 2019-20 in New constructed building. My flat Area is 42.08 Sq meter as per Registeration Agreement. My flat possession date 17.02.2018.
After words I apply for change of name in property tax that time required documents are submitted by me (including agreement copy) but no change in amount of Property Tax. As on today's date Property tax levied Rs. 15281/-, I want to know that how much property tax is calculated as per Area. I shocked for so much amount of property tax is levied. In Mumbai Property tax is Nil from 1st Jan 2019 for 500 sq ft carpet area (46.45 Sq.Mtr) vide circular RNI No. MAHENG/2009/35528 dated 10.03.2019. Kindly check at your end. I am from Middle class family such a big amount unable to pay. Please reduce the property tax bill or provide rebate on property tax.
