For the past several days I have been giving the list of substandard unauthorized constructions in Chintamani Nagar, Kalyanphata, Daighar village to the Diva Ward Committee, but the Diva Ward Committee, which has known the corrupt employees, has not taken any action till date. Even after a building like Jayanta Tower collapsed in this area last August, the corrupt officials are not taking any action against the unauthorized constructions. If there is any loss of life due to the collapse of the building here tomorrow, then the Diva Ward Committee and the Commissioner of Thane Municipal Corporation will be fully responsible for it.
