Municipal Corporation Of Thane — Water supply to Household societies in Thane West area

Frequently we see the message in local newspaper there is water stoppage for repair work in STEM water supply system or some other supply source, who supplies water to TMC area. Why there is so frequent requirement of repair (once in a month, sometimes twice in a month). Everytime it is mentioned that after one to two days, there will be supply at lower pressure. Is there no solution to this? Water tanker peoples are doing regular and steady business because of this. We do not see such frequent problems in neighbouring Navi Mumbai area. Is there no permanent solution?
