CIDCO's: Why Are The Ponds In Panvel Dirty, Filthy And Stinking — CIDCO'S: WHY ARE THE PONDS IN PANVEL DIRTY, FILTHY AND STINKING

Address:Raigad, Maharashtra

SUBJECT : CIDCO’S : WHY ARE ALL THE PONDS IN PANVEL FILTHY DIRTY AND NOT THROUGHLY CLEANED.
Respected Sir,
It has been observed for many months that the CIDCO’s has begun erecting wall around the ponds and safe guarding it from intruders and encroachers. All this is fine and noteworthy, but one thing which is non-acceptable and too weird to even think of is : “WHY ARE ALL THE PONDS IN PANVEL FILTHY DIRTY AND NOT THROUGHLY CLEANED.” It has taken so much wasted efforts on the print media to express the concerns of the common man towards this wage attitude of the CIDCO’s functioning in an unprofessional way and leaving these ponds in an utter mess, filthy, dirty, unhygienic and contaminated and incomplete in a way leaving things half done.
Today if you happen to visit any of these ponds in Panvel and abreast yourself about how things are done in a hush hush manner leaving a void and incomplete jobs. All one can imagine is that gradually CIDCO’s is taking things too lightly because they feel they have a strong adage of “WE BUILD CITIES”. Then, let me remind CIDCO’s that the ponds which are left stinking and dirty are in that scheme of the “CITIY” adage and is misused to the extent of taking one and all for a royal ride with just constructing a wall and leaving it at that. There needs to be an through inquiry of and about all the incomplete jobs left un-done till date with pictures to prove that at what current state they all are. Secondly the print media also needs to highlight the contact details of all the concerned officers in CIDCO’s to update them all of and about all these pending jobs left in the lurch till date. Simultaneously there has to be a photograph of the concerned authority figure with the incomplete job photograph to highlight the status and the man in charge for the same. This in turn will put to shame many of those authorised personnel who go scot free and are least bothered how the common man is suffering due to their neglicance.
If there seem to be no sincere effort and will to get up and get going on the highlighted grievances. Then, CIDCO’s need to buckle up and face up to the grievance scenes immediately and do the needful before the rains. As already everyone is concerned about “WATER” which has become the hot topic of discussion due the recent drought situation in Maharashtra. If this is so devastating then, having such beautiful ponds and not cleaned and maintained is calling for heads to roll on a major negliance to really protect the water bodies we all have and are not properly taken care of. Please can the CIDCO’s get up from that late afternoon nap and look around as to what needs to be tackled on priority with immediate effect to protect our surrounding ponds, which happen to be our source of water bodies available to us at any given time.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Fabian Edward Misquitta
