I am writing to raise a formal and urgent complaint regarding the auction/sale of my pledged gold chain under Gold Loan Account No. [protected] at your Kotra, Madhya Pradesh branch.
I have been paying interest on my gold loan regularly and have already paid approximately 70% of the amount/dues.
When I personally visited the Kotra branch, I was shocked to learn that my gold chain had already been auctioned. I was not given any prior notice informing me that my gold would be put up for auction.
I asked the branch staff for details and attempted to discuss the matter with the Branch Manager, but the Manager was not available. I have also tried to contact the Manager by telephone, but my calls have not been answered.
I was told that Muthoot Finance had allegedly tried to call me, but the calls were not connected. When I asked for the call details/proof of these alleged attempts, the branch informed me that they do not have/provide the call details.
I strongly object to this handling of my gold loan and request an immediate investigation.
I specifically request Muthoot Finance to provide:
1. The exact date and time on which my gold chain was auctioned/sold.
2. A complete copy of the auction notice allegedly sent to me.
3. Proof of when, where and how the auction notice was served/delivered to me.
4. Details and records of every alleged telephone call, SMS, WhatsApp message, email or postal communication made to me before the auction.
5. If Muthoot Finance claims that telephone calls were made, please provide the date, time, number dialled and available call records/system records supporting this claim.
6. The complete gold-loan account statement, including all payments made by me, interest, charges and outstanding amount before the auction.
7. The valuation of my gold chain before auction.
8. The final auction/sale price received for my gold.
9. Complete details of the auction process and sale.
