Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Trupti Vasant Shelke, I had taken the Gold Loan before Corona Pandemic by keeping Gold Jewellery owned by my family at Muthut Finance Limited, 301, 3rd Floor, Business Classic, Chincholi Bunder Road, , (Near S.V Road) Behind H.P Petrol Pump, Malad West, , Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064 to come out of my financial troubles and to become better financially as a middle class family. I was paying due monthly interest which was more than 27% p.a. plus penal charges which Muthut Finance Limited was imposing on me.
During corona pandemic and government imposed restrictions on work & travel, I lost my employment and income completely from May 2020 up till date.
I was struggling to feed my family, fighting with depression and still paying monthly interest to Muthut from my family saving and borrowing from friends and family members. I exhausted my hard earned savings, external resources which were helping me to survive financially and I could not pay monthly interest from May 2021 onwards.
Now in September and October 2021 we received the notice that Muthut Finance Ltd will legally Auction our Family Gold Jewellery and recover all the principal, interest, compound interest and penalty charges which we were unable to pay.
We as a family pray from our heart that Muthut Finance Ltd as company, its stakeholders and employees grow exponentially by leaps and bounds but not by taking benefit of Pandemic Situation and common people’s suffering which was not in our control. (I can provide all necessary legal proofs of loss of employment and zero balance in bank accounts)
I therefore request Muthut Finance Ltd to consider our situation and reduce or waive your applied charges + penalties as the soonest and stop the auction of Gold Jewellery of family in distress.
