I had scheduled a delivery on 14 February and it was promised to be delivered before 10 pm of 14 February. I get an email at 21:01 hrs saying the delivery went for delivery and the contact no. is not reachable! I mailed them back at 21:09 asking to reach me on my no. by whats app. No response till yesterday stating the same thing. Delivery boy had gone to the delivery address and contact was not reachable. I responded saying, please reach me on whats app as the person wont be home till evening.
conclusion: dropping an email is a way of making it official and saying "its not problem, I have communicated to you". I feel if the shop is unable to manage deliveries they should just decline the order! Making an attempt the next day means delivery periods have no value and the customer looses money too!
