National Highways Authority of India [NHAI] Complaints & Reviews

I traveled from Pune to Kolhapur on 8th January 2021 and my vehicle registration is MH12. They have deducted toll from fasttag. I heard toll is not chargeable for MH12 and MH14 registration vehicles. Kindly let me know following
1)Is toll exemption there for MH12 vehicles at Khed Shivapur?
2)If exemption is there how to get back money?
3)Why in software you not make provision for MH12 and MH14 vehicles?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Today when I was at Raibha toll plaza, I observed that few lane was not operational and othe lane was heavily crowded. So I joined the very left lane an observed that the lane blocked because the toll person was taking to one of the vehicle owner since long time. I went and asked why he is wasting others time, why can't he asked and him to park the vehicle and talk to him, then all of sudden the person at toll both started shouting at me and misbehaved with me. When my turn came he again fought with me and said you have to pay the cash as you are in cash lane. When I said my vehicle has fasttag why don't you scan the fasttag and collect the toll then I won't scan anything then I asked my mother to do a video recording then he scanned the fasttag and used abusive words and said this time I am allowing you to go next time I won't allow you to pass through the tool both. The toll person behavior was really very bad and four five people came to my vehicle to almost attack on us. This is a very serious concern, please take a necessary action on your staff.

If someone has valid fasttag card then why he has to pay cash and wait in queue?

Why all lanes are not operational?

I was faced waiting issue in Fastag lane both the side (from to ) at Pune-Mumbai Express highway and only two Lanes are allowed for Fastag lane.

Waiting time for 3-4 min almost

I, while driving car vide Reg. No. WB02AG9961 through NH6 passed at Jaladhulagori toll plaza on on 14 Feb 2021, 05:14 PM. (Toll txn Id: [protected].). However waiting time on the queue was more than 30 minutes which is not at all justified when fastag is in place. It's purely due to totally mismanaged handling of the situation by working staffs there. Some are misguiding to change lanes, in the fastag lanes when somebody has valid tag why that car has to wait for longer time than cash transaction even after reaching the counter?

Today on 14th Feb, the Jas Toll Company has collected fraudulently double toll charges- in Chokkenahalli Toll plaza-saying the Fast Tag is black listed. the receipt is attached for yr reference.

Hi, I have paid Rs. 105.00 on the way to Guwahati at madanpur toll plaza through Fast tag but earlier toll was 55 for vehicles registered at kamrup district. Please find below details.

Hello Team,
On 7th n 13th Feb I went through the same Toll Gate, as per guidelines 15th Feb is the last date to acquire Fastag post which it will be fined. However, on the above dates of travel I was fined thrice, at one instance i wasn't and when asked why not; he told last date is 15th Feb. And when asked why was I charge for other instance he blatantly said it is what it is and most of them do this unnoticed.

Hence, I thought to highlight this even though I know no benefit will come out of this, considering government is blind to this as exploiting citizens is a trend for government.

However, I still have hope and expect some compensation.

Sir, National highway no 34 toll plaza luharli . Near Bilsoori road ke conditions bahut kharab hai. Please construct of that road. It appx 15 kilometres from luharli toll plaza toward bulandshahr

Sir, It is very needful o[censored]nderpass at lalkuan ghaziabad . There are heavy traffic at that point .mostly traffic jam here .

Vehicles having registration MH 12 and MH 14 are exempt from Toll Charges at Khed Shivapur Toll Plaza.
My vehicle has MH 12 Registration and toll has been deducted Rs. 95 and Rs. 50 (for return) in a day from my ICICI Bank FasTag Account.
My Vehicle Registration No. is MH12RT4084.
Kindly return my money falsely deducted from my FasTag Account at the earliest.

Niyamatpur Ekrotiya toll plaza between Moradabad and Rampur is very badly managed. Scanners are taking too much time to read, which results in long queues at the toll plaza. Staff is also very unprofessional and bad mannered. Please look into the case and examine the shared facts with your own sources and fix the problem. Thanks

This happened with me yesterday at Chhajarsi Toll Plaza - First they scanned my Fastag and said that it is not working & we can not deduct the amount from Fastag.
They asked me to pay in Cash instead - I than told them that I will pay by mobile wallet UPI - I then paid them through UPI on the barcode that was affixed there.

After paying I left the toll plaza - they did not even mind giving me the toll receipt !

After 10 minutes, I get a message on my phone that toll has also been deducted from my Fastag Balance !!

I demand an immediate refund & also compensation for the harassment caused to me + action on the toll workers & management - as they also used foul language & bad behaviour with me, I was with my family & I really felt bad !

On NH-9 Kharawar Rohtak by pass flyover, 70km miles stone from Delhi, Lights are not burning since a long back.Many complaints have been done already but once after two three months it lighted. When ever it was lighted the timings were 8pm to 4 am.
There is a sharp turn on the flyover and new drivers remain enable to control their Speed and jumped below frequently.Many casualty had been occurred at this point. Speed breakers needs rectification.
Sign boards of destinations are confusing for the traffic for Jhajjar, Panipat and Hissar etc.

we are dealer for mahindra and we issue fastag to new customers, we are facing service issue from axis bank as it will not get recharge for weeks time they take 10 to 12 days time for resolution. who will stand in long quie in road for the distance of 600 km which we travl every 15 days .. we want refund for the security deposit which they have taken.

Dear Sir,
While travelling from Gorakhpur to Siddharth Nagar we come across the toll booth located in Farenda. Here only one toll gate is operated due to which we are facing traffic related problems. The second toll gate located in the same lane is not operated being functional too.

Sir with due respect please concern on this problem as the staff is very rude and they are trying to save the money for there own profit by not appointing operators for the other two toll gates.

I was driving towards Bhandara (Maharashtra) from Nagpur when passed Mathani Toll plaza under NHAI around 12:44 pm today on 13th February 2021. My FasTag was topped up before that and has a confirmation message of 12:26 pm and had a credit balance of ₹349.25 (please find the attached pictures for the reference) but the scanner at the plaza was faulty and could not read the FastTag (Axis Bank [protected]), thus gave me a manual receipt of the trip. I asked for return journey ticket said yes and handed me over receipt of ₹110, I left in hurry as vehicles were waiting and honking. Later I noticed they gave me a single journey receipt and charged me Non-FasTag fine on top of it (PFA Receipt attached). I wish to register this complaint and looking for appropriate action and my compensation.

On 12.02.2021 12:17:56 PM I crossed Bhojpuri toll plaza at Bilaspur-Raipur highway. Amount of Rs 80 was deducted from my fastag account. I returned on same day at 07:39 PM, again they charged Rs 80 from my fastag account instead of Rs 40 i.e. Rs 40 excess.

My vehicle Eicher bearing number mh47 y 2979 travelling to and fro boisar illegally impounded by the khaniwade( Maharashtra) toll plaza staff today (13/2/21)
They claim that the fast tag attached to my vehicle is not right and i will have to pay more than a lakh of rupees as penalty if i want my vehicle to be released.
This is actual gundaism by toll plaza employees.
My vehicle is transporting hardware items for factories along with perishable items which needs to be delivered today itself.
There will be a huge loss If the vehicle is not released immediately.
HOW CAN THE TOLL PLAZA EMPLOYEES IMPOUND OR SEIZE ANY VEHICLE???
My vehicle regularly pays the toll via fast tag.
The fast tag have been attached to my vehicle by the Eicher company itself before the vehicle was delivered to me.
How am i at any fault if there was any mistake with the fast tag?
How can the toll plaza employees demand lakhs of rupees to release the vehicle?
It's already been more than 2 hours since they have impounded the vehicle.
