National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — barricades placed in the middle of the highways

We find a lot of barricades placed in the middle of the highways across south india. There is no warning sign any where. This poses a great threat to travellers especially in the night. I wonder why there should be a barricade on a highway! Wee almost met with an accident at ambur because of one such barricade. So many vehicles apply sudden brakes just before the barricades causing a waterfall effect on all other vehicles coming behind. Another threat to highway travel is removal of medians in some places in front do hotels or restaurants. A lot of times vehicles take sudden cuts just to go into these restaurants which is a hazard to commuters on the other side. Request you take action on both these hazards at the earliest to save a lot of lives.

I haven't seen any response on action on my complaint. I definitely would urge the authorities to look into this on priority.
