National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — car damaged due to unserviceability of automated toll gate khedki daula

I, an air force officer, posted to mhow cantt., was traveling from jaipur to delhi on official duty in me personal vehicle (Xuv 500), ch 01 ax6393 on 01 jun '18. I was in lane 4 behind a truck and a bus stuck in a traffic jam. The automated gate was being operated manually. However, there was nobody to guide us or the barrier on the lane, which had bumper to bumper traffic. As my vehicle was crossing the barrier, it fell on the front windshield of my vehicle and shattering it. The cost of which is rs.17000/-. Upon complaining of the same at the toll plaza, i was assured of a positive outcome. However, there is no response from the operators as towards payment due to me due the damage caused to my vehicle due to their inefficient and un-serviceable barrier.
Kindly redress my problem and arrange for the paymnt.
