Today - 18 jan 2020 at 7.15 am while travelling from pune to mumbai, at talegaon toll plaza, the system debited my fastag wallet by rs 173/- but message displayed on terminal at the toll plaza was "insufficient balance" and i was asked to pay the toll in cash which i paid rs 230/- (For return journey). As though i knew there is sufficient balance in my wallet, i was using fastag for the first time and thought that the fastag was not activated yet (I had sent an e-mail to axis bank for activation but had not received any reply). Hence i paid the toll in cash. After some some when i received an email intimation for the debit of rs 173 in the wallet i realised the double payment of the toll.
Attached are the e-mail intimation for the debit of rs 173 and receipt for cash payment of rs 230/- please note that the time on both the transactions is exact same.
Request you to refund the toll amount of rs 173 by crediting it to the same wallet
