I have an IDFC bank fastag which I am unable recharge or cancel. Upon bank's request, I submitted necessary documents and necessary verifications 4 times through their portal but unsuccessful. Bank informed to submit documents by email which may take 2-3 days to update. Frustrated with the harrassment, I wanted to cancel the tag, bank informed that it will take 12 days to deactivate. Until then I cannot have another fastag issued.
This is ridiculous trap by banks and customers are in the hands of scrupulous banking systems. I cannot travel and use fastag unless willing to pay twice the amount at toll plaza.
How can we have this fixed and implement better system of recharging and cancellation of fastag. Was this information helpful? |
