While traveling from Pune to Mumbai, at Talegaon toll plaza, personnel at scanning center said insufficient balance in the fasttag wallet, where it was showing sufficient balance in app. I showed his the balance also. However, he asked to pay double charge, since I normally travel through fasttag lane without any issues. I paid 403. Since, all vehicle behind my car started honking their horn and toll plaza personnel wasn't listening to me.
Then at Khalapur toll plaza, scanning personnel said this was double charge and I need to pay complete toll again. interestingly, fasttag scanning worked at this toll plaza [No change to wallet or anything I made] and I was charge another 203.
So, instead of paying 270, I had to pay 606. After calling customer care at 1033, I got reply that nothing can be done and we can not help you in this case. I have all receipts and account statements to prove the same.
What I should do now? I want to notify this issue to authority. So, that this does not happen to anyone in future again. Was this information helpful? |
