Dear Sir/Madam,
It pains me to write this complaint against some Toll Plazas, namely, Dasana Toll Plaza, Brijghat Toll Plaza, and Joya Toll Plaza ("Toll Plazas"). These Toll Plazas have been illegally extorting double amount of money from the cars while we pass these Toll Plazas on the pretext of FASTAG not scanning. They say that we are not able to scan your FASTAG and hence you have to pay double the amount, or we will not less you pass. This is being done despite the fact that the reader says "Fastag is valid" and despite the fact that I have balance in my Fastag. This has happened to me on 5 occasions and this harassment of these Toll Plazas simply cannot go on. On 15.05.2022, I went through Brijghat Toll Plaza two times, and paid twice the amount each time. On 15.05.2022, I went through the Joya Toll Plaza two times, and paid twice the amount. On 27.06.2022, I went through the Dasna Toll Plaza once, and paid twice the amount.
This weird allegation of the Toll Plazas is laughable as the statement of my Fastag clearly shows deductions from my wallet before and after these incidents. This means that my FasTag is working perfectly fine. Why should a consumer pay twice the amount if the fault is that of the Toll Plazas?
My Vehicle Number is UP 15 DS 7889.
Kindly look into the matter, and resolve the same, and refund the amount illegally extorted from me, along with the compensation for mental agony that has been caused to me by these Toll Plazas which refused to let me go and had illegally detained me and my car for more than 15 minutes in certain cases. Kindly take exemplary penal action against these Toll Plazas and revert back to me as soon as possible.
