National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — Not scanning in real time

I have a fastag.. unfortunately i didn't check my balance.. when i entered toll gate.. there is an insufficient balance in my account.. i have done the recharge immediately.. it reflected in my fastag account.. but toll gate person is unable to scan. For that issue . They have made me to pay double amount for passing or to wait for 1 or 2 hours to wait. If NHAI can't use the right technology or the way o[censored]se . Dont implement cheap tricks for collecting money. If i dont have a fastag then it is a double pay, but i have it. Human error will be there, where the tested fastag product has the issue of scanning after recharge also. How much fine i have to ask from the tollgate person for this.?
