National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — Paid toll tax twice for the same road

It's an incident of deobnd toll plaza.
We purchased reciept to enter Deoband highway on the previous toll for the entire highway but unfortunately we were unable to find the receipt on the toll(Deoband toll plaza)so we requested the staff to enter the information of the vehicle and let us go but they refused and argued to give the tax once more .
