National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — rude behaviour in toll plaza - no respect for customers and not following rules

Thanks for making initiative to bring fast tag in the tolls. This is really saving a lot of time!!

I had to pass through the "athur toll plaza" on dec 29th. I was travelling towards chennai and the though the toll had fast tag enabled, the employees were lethargic and slow to let vehicle move. I had to wait 15 minutes in the toll and waited more than 3 minutes passing the yellow line.

I came to know about the rule of nhai that we don't have to pay the toll if we had to wait for more than 3 min. When enquired about it the employee was rude and he threw a rule book to us and asked to read and explain. He was so unethical and not a behaviour you expect from toll employees.

He told his name is kumar and he challenged us to complain if we can. Request you to take strong action against the toll booth employee and educate them if the rule is true.

How can we explain them about this rule next time when we cross the toll?
