NHPC IPO — Non allotment of shares

Hi Sir/Madam,

My name is Bharat Kantilal Jain. I had applied for 2625 shares of NHPC and placed a cheque of Rs. 94, 500. My application no. is 22468464. Rs. 94, 500 was debited to my Axis Bank a/c on 17 August 2009. I had duly filled the application form and submitted the application along with the cheque and PAN card xerox.

I would like to know the reasons for non allotment of shares at the earliest. Further, till date I have not got the refuned Rs. 94, 500.

NHPC IPO — non-credit of refund

i applied for two lots and have been allotted 175 shares. the balance amount of Rs 6300 has not been credited to my account as shown by karvy's refund status link. my application number was 23184682.

NHPC Close Issue on 12.08.09, and allotment completed apprometely 28.08.09, Still i not get any refund amount from u end.

It Almost 1 Month time u r using my amount without giving refund to me

so do needfull asap,

Need not worry. send a mail to [protected]@karvy.com and [protected]@karvy.com and they would send the refund money (Demand draft) to your mailing address within 2 weeks.

This is what i did to get my refund money.

I Am mailing from last 1 Month but the matter is still not taken seriously and all the replies to my mails are not up to mark and all the solution provided are useless this seems that the NHPC appointe are not properly handling the customer query .

I just feel punished by investing in NHPC as though shares are alloted my refund is still pending the address which is in DMat is an complet address also i reside at that locality from last 50 years and all the person reside in that are are well aware about Bajaj Nagar, This simply shows that unnecessary harrasment is done to me.

Also not a singel mail from Karvy is havind the contact numbers not even an single emplee tried to contact me on my provided number for solving the problem inspite of solving the problem of refund the refund is postated to Karvy Pune branch why this so ? I am not able to justify as Nagpur and Pune is more that 900 Kms. Distence .

I got 713 shares of it but balance refund was not transferfed in my HDFC account so far. whereas my wife too had applied for the same no. of shares through HDFC online system on the same day and at the same timeand she got the balance transferred in her account on 27th August. NHPC IPO — Non receipt of refund amount

My application no. is 12944838 I had applied for 2625 shares and I was alloted 713 shares which was credited to my Demat account that too on 02.09.2009, but so far I have not received my balance amount Rs.68,832 which should have been credited to my bank account through NEFT as per my details submitted by my DP.
I was told by Ms. Pragya of Karvi that the amount is sent through warrant no.356695 to my address on 27.08.2009. This is mistake from thier part as NSDL site clearly shows my bank details with MICR code. Even as on today i.e.14.09.2009 I checked up with our Powai post office no such Registered letter is received by them which I also personally checked myself from 27.08.2009 onwards.
Even their toll free no. is not responding. Who will look in to these complaints? Once you have applied in IPO you are left to their mercy.

I had applied for 525 shares of NHPC vide Application No. 3436760 on line on 11/08/09.
I did not receive any intimation regarding allotment of shares. On checking on line from Karvy, I learnt that I have been allotted 175 shares and based on refund order No.1002000, Rs 12,600/- was remitted through National Electronics Fund Transfer(NEFT). However the fund transfer got rejected by the Bank. On contacting Customer Care official at Kavya Computers I was told that Draft sent by post too has been received back as the applicant could not be contacted.

NHPC IPO money not refunded in account

Hello,

I had purchased 175 shares of NHPC, not a single ipo allotted to me.

However till date I have not received any refund nor it credited to my account. I had applied through my broker Sharekhan by online (Sharekhan is the most useless broker in this line cause they are not doing anything for refund).

It a case of fraud and strict actions should be taken against such bogus groups.

I have applied for LAND through TANSIDCO (Tamilnadu SIDCO) in Pollupalli, Krishnagiri DT, which comes under Tamilnadu Governement.

The initiial amount has been kept for 3 years with them without any interest and later the land was not allotted and the refund has been given back after (around) 3 months from the intimation date of non-allocation.

Apart from the above they have also received few thousands as application fee and processing fee.

Though this was communicated to me while applying, my concern here is if the land had been allotted then the application fee and the interest towards the paid amount (Initially and later some down payment) could have been taken from me.

But since the land is not allotted, I feel that the interest for the Paid amount along with the application & Processing fees (as the land is not allotted) has to be paid to me as I am not allotted any land and hence the processing fee, etc is not applicable for me.

Interest in Case of Delay in Despatch of Allotment Letters/Refund Orders
In accordance with the Companies Act, the requirements of the Stock Exchanges and SEBI
Guidelines, our Company and the Selling Shareholder undertake that:
 Allotment shall be made only in dematerialised form within 15 days from the Bid/Issue
Closing Date;
 Despatch of refund orders, except for Bidders who can receive refunds through Direct Credit,
NEFT, RTGS or ECS, shall be done within 15 days from the Bid/Issue Closing Date; and
 Our Company and the Selling Shareholder shall pay interest at 15% per annum if allotment
letters/refund orders have not been dispatched to the applicants or if, in a case where the
refund or portion thereof is made in electronic manner through Direct Credit, NEFT, RTGS or
ECS, the refund instructions have not been issued to the clearing system in the disclosed

NHPC is a fraud company. It was my mistake to invest money in such groups. Another fraud is HDFC securities. The worst trading sector. NEVER EVER TRADE THROUGH HDFC

I and my friends have put 8 applications in our own and family
members names. In all our accoounts we got 713 each shares.
But not any single refund did we get yet. If company can transfer
shares on 26th Aug. itself, why refunds are too late, just to earn interest
on our money ? Just immediately transfer our funds in our bank accounts.

In case if you fall in the Retail category who have applied for less than 700 shares, you allotment is based on the above ratio. However, I am really not sure about the complaints here raised by some of you who have applied for more than 700 shares. You are supposed to have got 700:190/2625:713.
