We had submitted a claim with CCN no. 5340320 and 5340332 for a cancer patient. Our claim has been repudiated on 01 Feb 2022. However, even after one and half month, we have not received the original receipts that we had submitted for processing the claim. On enquiring with the TPA (Paramount health services), they directed us to contact NIC office at Gumti no. 5, Kanpur because they have sent the originals there. On visiting the Kanpur NIC office, they refuse to return the original. They seek a written clarification on why we need the original? The insurance company cannot hold on to original receipts which they are reimbursing and the cost is fully borne by the insured. Was this information helpful? |
