Naukri.com — Attempt to fraud in the name of naukri.com | |||
Got a call with a number [protected] on my registered number on naukri.com. Her name was anjali and she informed me that i have paid services activated on my account and company has decided to deactivate that service and provide full refund due to covid situation and also asked me to fill in details on link as https://www.refund2naukri.com/index.php. as soon as i browsed the site. I found something fishy about the site. And when i asked about naukri.com main centre address. The lady was unable to answer and started speaking sternly that if you dont want to deactivate you can disconnect the call and she did that from her end with the risk of getting caught. Same thing happened to my wife today, sadly ended up paying money, but we have raised card block requests as well as disputes to the bank. Planning to report to cyber crime division. Seems this fake portal was registered just 70 days back as per WHOIS database and might have some insider relation since they have lot of exact/detailed information about the paid Naukri services package that was bought and how service hasnt provided etc ( which could be a random guess ) . Naukri should definitely investigate any relationships to internal employees or leaks in their databases.

2 sep 2020- still they are calling and trying to fetch money by asking for card details (www.refund2naukri.com). They have information of when I have started the paid service as well. How they even know who has paid service? Please follow up fast. Even after so many complains no action has been taken. Somehow people are taking advantage of customers being unhappy with Naukri's paid services(which works out very well). Then after that these kind of incidents are going to create worse image for Naukri.com in customer's head.
