Hi Team,

I received text message and calls from naukri. The text I received is as follows-

"Your Profile, forward legal department. You cannot apply to any job 7 years in MNC'S company. Court provide legal notice with challan, and you have to pay challan in court with statement.
@Naukri.com
Dear candidate, your challan no. is 486/7841/2023
QC.(case no. CH42) and challan amount is Rs.48, 456. Pay in court within 2 hours officer team visit your home adress. @Naukri.com."

She was forcing me and blackmailing me that my profile will be block for 7 years for not attending MNC calls. Also forced me to pay Rs.5500 to solve all this issue. I told her that pls give me a proof for this then she said I will not provide you any proof, this is an intimation call and last call. If you are not solved this issue then Lawyers will come to your home. and they charged penalty of Rs.48, 456 for you. I requested her to give me time for cross verify then she said no . And I am sure that I have not missed any calls from recruiter and this is not the policy. Pls advise me and kindly take action on such fake /fraud calls.

We’ve received such complaints from other jobseekers as well in the past and on the basis of our findings we advise you to be wary of such emails and do not volunteer information on:

• Credit card numbers or bank details over phone or email
• Call back phone number
• Monetary transactions, money-transfers, or payment for job applications, conducting interviews, or any other such employment/recruitment related benefits
• Contact details for a guaranteed job or money to process visa for emigration

We advise you to exercise extreme caution before acting on any such fraudulent emails/calls and always check with the actual recruiter before paying for interview, offer letter, etc.
