Today i.e.,[protected] at 3:12 pm, I received a call from a person named Karan Malhotra from phone number [protected], claiming to be a Naukri.com employee. He said I got shortlisted for a role in Tech Mahindra(company) and that only one round of Interview would be conducted by Tech Mahindra as a part of recruitment process within 1 hour if I paid Rs 1500 as Interview charges. He said he would provide me a set of HR Round questions and the same questions would be asked in the Interview. He sent me a mail from mail [protected]@naukrihrreccruiter.com (I have attached screenshots) and said he would activate the Interview ID as soon as I pay Rs 1500 and the same amount is refundable after the interview even if I get selected or rejected.
I knew it wasn't legit. When I refused to pay the money and stopped answering his calls, he got angry. He threatened me saying he would block my Naukri profile within 24 hours as he has my details. I have attached screenshots of his mail and blackmailing messages below.

Please refrain from taking calls from this agency / person as they might be misusing Naukri’s name and credibility.
We’ve received such complaints from other jobseekers as well in the past and on the basis of our findings we advise you to be wary of such emails and do not volunteer information on:
• Credit card numbers or bank details over phone or email
• Call back phone number
• Monetary transactions, money-transfers, or payment for job applications, conducting interviews, or any other such employment/recruitment related benefits
• Contact details for a guaranteed job or money to process visa for emigration
We advise you to exercise extreme caution before acting on any such fraudulent emails/calls and always check with the actual recruiter before paying for interview, offer letter, etc.
