Naukri.com — rude behavior by the advisor when I did not agree to switch to a premium account | |||
I applied for a job through naukri.com and my profile was selected. I received a call from their team on 06/11/2019 at around 11:30 am and he was really sweet to explain the procedures and other details. I would like to point out that his english was way over my understanding but i didn't want to let go off a good opportunity hence i tried my best to understand what were his instructions. It then turned out that i was asked to purchase a membership fee of rs. 9, 500/- plus gst in order to start the application. As an average earning person, i found this amount to be a lot so i had a few questions which i asked. I also mentioned that i would like to think about it and get back to him. He tried pushing the deal by saying that once the offer is gone, i will not be able to apply for this job or any other job and my profile will be cancelled. Before i could ask anything else, he kept saying "it's ok. Just let it be" and implied that i cannot pay the said amount. Although his tone and words changed the moment i said i might have to think about buying the membership. He just wasn't interested to understand anything beyond me not buying the membership.
