New India Assurance — wrong info. provided and harassment/ cheating by sr. div. manager mr. r. chandrasekharam

I was provided wrong info. By the sr. Div. Manager (Begumpet) mr. R. Chandrasekharam for both the queries that i had for an explanation.
Even though i am being asked to pay my car policy amt. Online for the last years i am being denied access to my policy for which he was not able to reply as to why i couldn't do it and each year i had to run to the branch 3-4 times as i was asked to pay the amount online multiple times and failed and finally issue a cheque.
This year when i tried to pay the amount i received an error message when i entered all the card details stating that i am not eligible to pay the amount online as my vehicle is 118 months old and that i had to contact the branch and pay the amount. When i asked the reason as to why there is no rule published on the website mr. R. Chandrasekharam told me that the system will not allow a customer to pay the amount online if the vehicle crosses 120 months and when i said that the message says 118 months, he tried to justify by saying that 118 months is close to 120 months and that is why it was not accepting and literally pushed me to accept his explanation and never wanted to keep me informed as to why this rule is not published on the website but said that it is a rule that any vehicle which has crossed 120 months are not allowed to pay online. Whereas my vehicle is just 118 months for which he didn't have proper explanation.
Secondly, when i asked about the increase in my premium for the last 2-3 years he blamed irdi stating that it has increased it even though i told him that since i have never claimed anything for almost 5-6 years and he was really raising his voice to show his authority and giving me an explanation which didn't sound correct at all.
When i sent an email to the senior management he replied to all of us and gave a different story in the email altogether to show to the senior management that i am to be blamed and that he explained to me properly, which is not true at all.
I feel that mr. R. Chandrasekharam has a feeling that he can boss over me and feels that i work under him and that he needs the credit by talking to me in this way.
I feel that he not only provided wrong info. To me but also gave me a feeling that he was trying to harass/ cheat me by talking with me in this unhealthy manner.
I feel so sad and ashamed that i have been a customer of nia for more than 10-12 years now and this is the kind of treatment a sr. Div. Manager can give to a customer.
[Dec 21, 2017] New India Assurance customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
