Myself Sahiba Kave, I work for NIIT belgaum as a faculty. I and my other colleagues get insulted every month by receiving our salaries as low as " Rs. 2000/- " . They take lots of work from us and give us peanuts at the end. If we request for our increments, we are threatened that we will be removed from the institution.

Even a mason earns 100 rupees a day, and we being educated and having a respectable job earn less than that. Is it fair? Is the the difference between an educated and non-educated person?

In this high time of expenses, our HOC " MR. RAGHUVEER " behaves rude to us and doesnt give a raise.

Can somebody help me out in this, I literally feel like crying after looking out for my expenses.

they will not let me give exams until i pay the fees of P.P, please help me i downgrading my process, i will join some other institute and study more from that money,

Hello Sir,
I am Subhendu Ghosh a student of berhampore NIIT center.My student id is S[protected].I am complaining against the berhampore NIIt center.This center is nothing but a cheat fund which took a lump of money from me as course fee of a course named "Diploma in Information Technology".The actual course fee is Rs.38000,but they took 50000/- in total and admitted me in some useless courses & they are now asking again 3000/- more.the reason I don't know.the duration of that course is 1yr.But it is about to cover 1yr and 6 months but they did not let me complete my desired course,i.e.,"Diploma in Information Technology".the main thing is that the center has no faculty at present apart from one person who is now the be all and end all here.I went to him and asked for help to get my course completed as soon as possible.But he did not helped me and asked me to go back home saying that a new faculty would come.but more than one month has passed but no one came in the center as a faculty.He said it to everyone there but we think this is a fake word he told.
Sir, Our future is in danger.Because we have heard that NIIT will go to withdraw its center from berhampore soon.It is beyond our nightmare if NIIT will fly away without providing our certificates.

My name is " Mahesh Krishna G " , My Student ID : S[protected] ... Right from My Schooling days NIIT has been my choice of place for Computer Education , Be it the Swift Course back in 2000 or the Visual Basic Course That I completed back in 2002 .. NIIT always lived up to my expectations as far as COMMITMENT and QUALITY is considered.

This was what made me choose NIIT again after my Engg Graduation ... I wanted to get well equipped in the latest technologies with in the shortest time possible ... that made me choose the AAE v5 course at NIIT. Though I was warned of the rigorous curriculum and the tight time table I would have to follow .. I decided I wanted this !! The NIIT centers at My city didn't have the AEE course then ... I had to go to Chennai or Bangalore if I insisted on doing it.

Chennai they didn't have a batch starting last December .. this made me turn to Bangalore ... I didn't want to join any franchisee centers just because I didn't want to take any chances ... I always believed that Company Owned Centers maintain better Quality and Commitment to wards the students.

Thats how I came to know about the KORAMANGALA NIIT CENTER @ BANGALORE. My first Point of contact was the Center Manager Mr.Ramachandaran .. I must have spoken to him for more than 10 times on the phone during first two weeks of December 09

I again and again confirmed If they had a PROPER AAE bactch running , he said yes ... On top of it He also said that I was lucky as he was starting a AAE batch in th 3ed week of December and that the batch already had 10-12 members and it was fast filling.

Bangalore - NIIT - Company Owned Center - The Center Manager - Who would think that one would get cheated ??
I reached Bangalore the very next day and visited the center and got my self registered for the AAE course.
Paid my fees on a single payment on the very first day. December 2009.

It was not a cake walk for me joining for this course , I had to clear aptitude tests , clear interviews , telephonic interviews ... after all that they selected me for this course !! Within 15 days or so I noticed that there was something wrong , I had no proper AAE batch as such , for a long time I was the only AAE student and I was made to sit with other Batches ( DDNT, DJVT ) from time to time ... No staff in charge , No Proper batch nothing !!

I had Very clearly told Mr. Ramachnadaran , and the then team leader Mrs.Chandini that My requirement was to complete the course with the given time frame that is 5 months !! They did promise me the same ...

It was after that I joined the Center ... In the first 2 months I had gone to the center manager with numerous complaints .. every time he promised me that this was temporary and that things were falling into place ...

Within the third month I knew things were not like I wanted it to be , No Proper Batch , No Other AAE student apart from Me and One Mohamad Faridh ( Poor Fellow He had joined the center in Sep-Oct 09 ) his plight was worse than mine !!

After repeated complaints and requests I got tired of it .. I decided that I got to finish this course some how at the earliest possible within 5 months or say maximum 6 months !!

Nothing seemed to be happening properly for me , main reasons being :

- No batch for AAE
- No Staff incharge For AAE
- No proper time table for AAE
- I had to adjust with the timings and portions of other ( DDNT and DJVT Batches )
- 2 Hours Class per day ... Mainly because I had to sit with other Batches !!

My Problems :

- was staying away from home ( Monthly Expense almost 10,000 @ bangalore ) Its been 9 months Now !!
- Time period taken to complete subjects was a big botheration.


Even the subjects covered apart from few subjects , others we did have problems SQL, UML etc ...
Core Java I joined when He had already completed 4 chapters, the staff said he would help me cover those but he left the job abruptly ..

SQL no one understood more than 60% of the portions ... lots and lots like these !!
In spite of all these I still some how wanted to finish it off and get out at the earliest ..

9 months today and I still didn't manage to complete my Level 1 - MT3 portions ... if you are aware I've got 2 levels 6 MT's in my AAE v5 curriculum.

Mr.Sreejith the current team leader , if not for him I don't think I would have managed to complete even MT2 in NIIT in the last 9 months ... he did give me classes and did what ever he could for me as a responsible staff when ever I was in trouble , but I guess thats the maximum he could do about it ...

What Will he do with a SINGLE STUDENT in a AAE batch ?? Over all I was the looser ... not any1 else ...

- 95-99% attendance ... thats what I have maintained @ the Classes for the last 9 months !!
- I've spent more than a 90,000 rupees in the last 9 months here for my expenses
- I paid approx 55,000 rupees as fees
- Most of all I lost another 9 months of my career thats 3/4th of a Year !!

2008 pass out, already I had lost 18 months .. and now NIIT helped me loose another 9 months of my career !!

You have no idea what I have gone through in the last 9 months and how much I have lost ... tell me sir whats my mistake in this whole issue ???

The Other AAE student I was talking about earlier MOHAMED FARIDH , he eventually had to quit NIIT last july for similar and more reasons and went back home ... after almost 10 months of struggle.

He was in tears when he left Bangalore ... today I'm also put in the same situation ... But i'm not leaving like him blaming my fate for all this !!
NIIT directly had lots to do with our plight today .. especially mine ..

- Rs.55,000 fees
- Rs.90,000 my expenses
- 9 valuable months

What is that NIIT can give back to me ?? To play with a Students Career is not what is expected from NIIT !!
The least you can do is refund my Fees ...

Even then I stand at the Loosing end ... as you know already !! but then I can't afford to loose Rs.1.4 lakhs and 9 months for nothing ...

Before you hear lame excuses and other versions of stories from the concerned people regarding this complaint, I wanted to let you know sir ... I can back up my claims and complains each and every word in this mail with WRITTEN COMPLAINTS from other students who were with me including my ONLY fellow batch mate MOHAMAED FARIDH ...

I'm also fed up complaining and complaining .. this is my last try and I wish there is at least one responsible person there who will understand my plight and get back to me with a reasonable solution.

I'll make sure in future none of my friends or relatives join or even go near a NIIT center ...especially the BANGALORE , KORAMANGALA center .... !! I've had enough and I quit ...

I am enrolled in java course CRJV4 at NIIT At rd Floor, Crystal Arcade, Near Navrengpura Tele Exchange, C G Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380009‎ .First of all they asked me pay the fees in advance which i did.After that the Monica (Academic Consellor ) there tell me that you will get 3 certificates one for core +one for advance +sun participation . i joined due to sun participation .

From may 2010 “ I had several talks with the management regarding my certificate and they always used to give false assurance by saying “ we are looking into this matter .and the case will be solved soon” but still my future is in darkness. Some times they said that they will send my certificate by speed post “ but till now I have not got anything . I called them many times. Now they have denied to give my Pending certificates include sun participation +core java certificate.

I asked Monica , Nidhi if I may talk to manager. Manger's office is visible from the from the front desk where I was standing. She went inside dont know what she said but than drama began Manager was showing his pictures to his kids and front desk girls for 30 minutes knowing I am waiting for him out side. He was giving me a look when I was out side of his office. than I asked another lady that I need to talk to him. After all this I was allowed to go in. that are the standards for customer service. An Absolute unprofessional way of dealing things.

Than he was so rude I told him that what all happened he told me once you have attended one class of NIIT we can not refund you money. It is not my problem. such a dumb head person behaved very rude to me as if it was my mistake to join NIIT
.There has been a high degree of mismanagement on the part of NIIT,

This nonprofessional and untailored approach from NIIT management has lead to a great amount of discontentment and frustration.

Now either I should get my original core java certificate (not participation)+ Sun participation or refund my entire fees taken by NIIT.
And take a strict Action Against Monica and other Counsellor who say wrong things to students and mis guiding him .
And its already august and near by september

so I don't get any job from institute side till now.
When I was joined NIIT, They commited to me we will place in any Multinational Company, But still they didn't provide me any types of job related my Course.

I was also a student of NIIT. This time I know not only about NIIT But also Whole INdustry of IT. To Become a Software engineer it is must that student shoud be Mathmatics background. Without Mathmatics background don't take admission in IT field(Software). It is only wasting time and Money. If any body want to learn software Engineering so they should take admission From DOAEC It is cheaper and apllicable in private and GOVERNMENT Secotor also. After Completing the Maximum student are placed in other sector Like BPO(backoffice Support, tech Supprt, Non Voice etc.) There are very less student place in core IT Field. For this field backoffice Support, tech Supprt, Non Voice etc. One need only basic knowledge of Computer and Good Communication Skill. NIIT provide only diploma not any degree. On the basis of DIPLOMA how You can Growth. Time has been changed.There are a lot of B.Tech Engineer are unemployed. So how can u suppse that U can make bright future by NIIT Certificate. IF You are going take admission IN any Private INstitute Be careful.......... GOD Bless You..............

I am B Tech(IT) Passout student of 2006 batch from Kolkata. I have joined NIIT, CAMAC ST at 2007 in a placement assistant course for engineers called AAE. The course fee is 48000 INR(APPROX). At the time of admission the NIIT counseller told me that 2 global certification is included with it. The Course duration is 5 months and they have take 9+ months to complete and after 1 month of joining they said that atlest 2 Global certification(scjp/mcp/mcsd) needed and fee has to be paid. Certainly after spending 3 more months after course(already take 9 months to finish) in the name of grooming and doing nothing and offering jobs of data entry/bpo with salary of 5000 approx and they fail to place a single student of this batch in S/W in 11 months(14 student overall).
They then decided to send the whole batch to Bangalore/Hyderabad for placement.
There also with lack of communications from placemet team kolkata and hyderabad
only 2 of them (on their own credit) get job in hyderabad rest of them comes back after 6 months from Hyderabad. After comming back to kolkata when we report to CAMC ST , they are blaming each other
After spending 1 and half year and almost 65000 INR, the output is nothing.

** NIIT CAMC ST FACULTIES ARE AWSOME. THEY ARE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WRITE CORRECT VB DOT NET/C++ SIMPLE PROGRAM IN ONE CHANCE.

** NIIT CAMC ST PLACEMENT PEOPLES ARE XCELLENT, THEY ONLY ABLE TO CONDUCT INTERVEW ONCE IN 7-10 DAYS MOSTLY IN BPO/MIS WITH AVG SALARY OF 3-5K/MONTHS.

Hi, My name is pallavi i had been to NIIT institute. Initially i felt very good about there response but later wen i payed them the course fee for java the acted really bad. NIIT promised me to give 100% placement, and the tod me that JAVE course will cost me 34000 and to do that course they asked me to take a test and i payed 100 rs for them .it was not worth. they told that they will be giving c, c++ training for me but they wer rushing thr the sylab. and all false promises they gave to me. Can i know who is the higher point of contact to complain?

Das pursuing 1yr GNIIT from south ex branch new delhi. sir/madam i am enrolled with GNIIT since august 2009 and I was supposed to took my semester exam in February of 1st sem and 2nd sem in this august but till date south ex branch had not taken any types of semester exam. Now I am in need of my GNIIT 1 yr diploma degree but how can i get it such reputed institution is running so carelessly.
so please take any positive action regarding this request. I have visited branch head Mrs. silpy but there was no any action taken. I Ankit Kr. Das on behalf of my class members request you to take it seriously.

I have joined for Core Java course in NIIT nagercoil on July 2009. It was a 160 Hrs course. Yet they have not provided the Certificate

I had taken Admission on January for CCNA course,at NIIT Shymbazar Centre, in time of admission i was convenced that i will be getting study dates as per my availability, as i am presently working in a company it was agreed that i will be taking classes on saturdays, after assurance from your institution i took my admission.

however, after taking admission, i repeatedly contacted for the schedule of classes, but they could not done.and hence i request to refund my admission amount of 14000.00 [ Rupees fourteen thousand only ] at the earliest.

From last two months i trying to contact the branch head of Shymbazar NIIT centre, but they told me every day that she was busy or on meeting or outside etc.I also send a complain to [protected]@niit.com which is given by the help centre in last month, it's about 20 days gone, but no reply has com.

Now i am very very disappoint with NIIT service.

Please please please give me solution as early as possible.

I am a resident of WZ 35 a , lajwanti garden, jail road.
I want to bring it to your kind notice that a nearby institute (NIIT) is using a commerical generater here that procudes alot of noice and leads to vibration in our building, that i think is very unsafe.

I request you to please take the appropriate action against it and do the needful to remove this commerical machine from the residential area.

NIIT Imperia had sent me a draft of Rs 7000/- as a refund of the processing fee's in the month of May which I had unfortunately misplaced on account of shifting of the house.

I had promptly called Monideepa Mukherje ( Coordinator for WB NIIT Imperia) , who had immediately asked me to sent an undertaking on mail so that same could be processed for reissue.

I had promptly emailed a scanned copy of the undertaking on the company's letterhead as on 28th May 2010 and that was the last time I have heard from her .

It has been more than 25 months and I am yet to hear anything about the draft .

Innumerable mails and calls have been fruitless and I was called on the 29th June ( after yet another reminder mail ) to be rudely informed that as I was careless enough to loose the draft , I HAD to wait and nothing else could be done. When asked about the contact person escalation, the phone was slammed down , never to be answered again!!!


It has been two months and am yet to hear anything from NIIT Imeperia. Their website doesnot even have any information on contact person for any grievances!!! Is this what is expected out of an educational Institute ???

Madam Monideepa had been very cordial while upselling various educational courses on her frequent visits to the Bharti Airtel Office, all of which had disappeared in thin Air!!

I have taken a transfer in Delhi and have to join the classes as soon as possible,because i have to do the job and i need a evening batch ,and the way they treated me like unknown person ,i am a student of niit but they did not even ask that and i have gone several times to conform the batch timing but they don't talk like a human being even.They are not interested in a student like they are the president of niit.Nobody was helpful,or ready to tell and they even don't pick up the call.All faculties was very rude in behaviour.

My wife took addmision for GNIIT 3yr S/W Engg program at Thane branch, she was completed 3 semester, also paid full fees (Rs. 85,000-90,000).
But due to B.Com final exam & marriage she got break. now she want to continue remaining course and when she went to NIIT institute they said your syllabus was old & program is executed you can't continue. also when she ask abt full paid fees they says fees is not refundable.
But many times she went there the representative told her that there was no such batch avl and asked her to come next day.
And now they said program is executed. What can we do if she want to continue course or money back?
Can we file a consumer complaint against NIIT in this case? If we can file the complaint, then what is the procedure?

I, Sridipta Misra,am pursuing B.Tech 4th yr. in Information Technology.I the the 5th National IT Aptitude Test conducted by NIIT, from NIIT Kankurgachi, Kolkata on 18th January 2009. I received my result on 26th January 2009. I scored 93 percentile and was among the top 7 percent in All India. I scored well and received my certificate, but with my name written wrong in it. I resubmitted my certificate for correction then and there as directed by the Center Head and since then I have been continuously visiting the center, calling and mailing the officials (mainly Mr. Arup Nandi, ex-center head). But each time he assured that he will look into the matter as soon as possible. He asked me to mail you all the details along with an application. I did so immediately, but he never replied to my mail. I never got any concrete answer. And now, after almost 18 months, I have been told that due to lack of correspondence from my side, I won't be getting my certificate! I have been told that I cant even have my old erred certificate back.

Thanks to NIIT Kankurgachi for help and co-operation. But now I have lost all my hope and am unsatisfied to the core with NIIT's service.

I STRONGLY ADVICE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM NIIT! THEY ARE FRAUD PEOPLE!

I enrolled for three corses at NIIT after leaving my job. (A+, N+, later CCNA)..but there was no batch after enrolment.
I submitted for the fee refund of the A+, N+ as the classes did not start and centre head approved it....but its 3 months now and I did not recieve the money back even after asking them again and again.
Also, the batch for 3 students started for CCNA and batch time was given to be 7-8 PM on a promise that it will be changed after 1 week.
No change in batch timing was there and I had to return home late night driving my bike.
Even after 1 month, the course was just started and the faculty had his own exams and was waiting for another batch to start so that we will be collaborated with them.
We agreed even on that and after 45 days the course was just started and was not completed enough which they promised to be completed within 2 months.
After being merged into the oter batch, the faculty told me to get the ID card to sit in class for CCNA.
When I enquired about it at the centre, there was no registration on my name with institute even after 2 months of fee+form submission. I filled the form again as the centre head was not available.
After two days, there was no registration again. The faculty for CCNA reminded me again and again for ID card and I could not get the course books because I was not a student officialy.
So, due to whole mess, I talked to centre head of NIIT chandigarh about fee refund as I was jut wasting time and money. Any other institute would have completed the course in this time frame.
She agredd a I gave enough reasons. She approved the application and I submitted the original copy of fee reciptes in the office of NIIT chandigarh.
She promised me the refund within 7 days. There was no response even after 3 weeks, I went to centre leaving my office which I joined temporarily to earn few bukcs because I was not left with money and any course certificate.

When they can not wait for the student to submit the fee even for one day, they should be aware of the student's issues who is waiting for the fee refund for last 3 months.
Thats after the application approval from the centre head of NIIT chandigarh.

Also, she signed the application for approval of fee refund because I was unsatisfied from the mess going on regarding the classes and centre failing to register me with NIIT and Cisco even after 1 month and thus no ID card issued.

Who woul have been responsible if after ourse compltion, I would not hav been able to appear for CCNA exam because I was not registered with Cisco.?

The classes that I attended was just a wastage of time, energy and money and I was left with nothing but incomplete motive of doing a course at NIIT. I travelled daily from panchkula to chandigarh.
Still waiting for the fee refund. But thinking of going for the legal action.

If you are planning to join niit beware! Here they dont have any qualified teachers nor infra structure nor anyone who can stick to their words.
When you enter this glossy beautiful niit office, a reciptionist (Or sales person i would rather say) would tell 'n' number of lies,
1) you would get world class education from certified trainers, education will be in a proper infrastucture. Trust me it would never happen!! Trainers maybe knowing less then you!
Now you have been fooled into doing a course specially "gniit", they have not sucked enough money out of you.
2) faculty will fool you into doing all the certifications available with them from microsoft to sun to cisco, saying it will be an extra edge for your placements. If you refuse to do they will blackmail you that they will not provide placements. So now they have become from educational institutes to placement agencies.
Faculty has become a salesman. All the suggesting you to do some technology you dont want or require to do. If all o[censored]s become expert in java and.net then i guess all will start their own ibm.
3) they will stick posters of ibm, sun, microsoft, hcl etc etc etc.
But when you reach placement department you will only find c-tier third grade companies paying you some[protected]. But they promised me minimum 9500 when i entered the front office of niit.
They dont have any such companies coming for placement.
Dont be fooled into doing course with niit they are one big glossy lie.

After making me wait for 6 months they placed me some where because of my nagging. They again lied as they doing from 1st day, they told me company will pay me 6000 for 6 months and 10000 later on. Now the company says thats not our policy!! Niit does not recoganize me as i have paid my course fees.

My 20 friends are waiting for past one year to be placed!

I am Biswajit Patnaik student of ORACLE-DBA NIIT Chinchwad branch. Pune ID No-S[protected]
On 31 March 2010 I joined this course and paid sum of amount Rs 24000/- (Twenty Four Thousand) from last two month (1st May2010-29th June2010) due to Unavailability of faculty classes are not going till date.
I personally visited to the Center Head, Chinchwad Branch with this problem but he replied that there is no faculty available for Oracle DBA and at last no feasible solution came out from him, really I got lots of tension and harassment as well I am wasting my time also from last two months, I was not excepting this type of services from NIIT, due to a good brand name in Market of NIIT I joined in NIIT.
So for the above I am requesting you to please help me and resolve my problem otherwise please refund my money as soon as possible.
