    Is Appario Retail Pvt. Ltd authorised dealer of Nikon camera / Lens? Will I get warranty if I purchase a dslr camera from them via Amazon? Nikon says e-commerce sites are not authorised so what is the current real situation?

      I submitted my lens for vr replacement on 27th september 2019 at rsquare noida sector 16 which is an authorised service center in noida for nikon.
      The next monday i called them up and asked if my lens was ready, i was told that there is no update about the lens as of yet and you should call in 3 to 4 days.
      I called them after 4 days and was then informed that there has been a robbery in the service center on the 2nd or the 3rd of oct, don't remember the exact date but it wasnt the 4th which means, when i first called them, the robbery had taken place, my equipment was gone, they knew it and they did not inform me.

      To my surprise, i was informed that in such a case, the company is not liable to pay anything to the customer but the service centre owner said he will provide a lens of the same specs.
      There are a couple of things here, my lens did not have a working vr.
      Why should i take a lens which i don't know anything about the way it has been used and how bad the internals are. Regardless thats one option i'm not taking.

      He said i have informed the company 'nikon' and have not had a revert from them as of yet in regards to what shall be done in this situation and he asked me to call in a couple of days. I agreed.

      I called the owner today and to my surprise he asked me to call the nikon customer care. At this point i knew they will volleyball me, and since i didnt have a choice, i called the customer care and this time i was not surprised at all. They told me to call the owner of the service centre.

      Thats when i was furious.
      The whole problem happened because of lack of security at the nikon service center - rsquare, there is no doubt that they both, nikon as well as the owner of the service centre are liable to refund the current value of the lens without delay or if its a replacement lens, there should be a proper warranty to it.

      There are some other facts here which i havn't mentioned for eg. I asked for a copy of the fir from the owner but i still have not received that which makes me wonder, should i get my lawyers involved?

      Please change my camera body any cinematic mode have been not seen in the camera menu.

        I submitted my nikon d 5600 in the nikon authorized service center due to a technical error in the camera and it was under warranty period on the date 30 september 2019 and then i called them if my camera was done with repairs on date 7 october 2019 but they told me that my camera was stolen from the service center and they will ping me back after a week.

          My nikon 3300 camera exceeded warranty is showing err inside viewfinder and the display is off, not seeing the light blink on the yellow light beside the screen while inserting battery / memory card, we can just click shutter at err with a slow shutter sound then after that it show normal dial in viewfinder then we can take a single shot but after that it again goes err and this repeats all the time. It is autofocusing on 18-55 and 70-300 kit lenses still not having the beep sound of focusing... Can you help me find a solution to this...

            I had written a mail to nikon customer cream [protected]@nikon.com as my brother who passed away a few weeks back, was a professional photographer and now we do not have any option but to sell the camera and lens. Unfortunately, we could not find a paper copy of warranty card but only a picture of it in his mobile. Nikon replied they don't have option of providing duplicate warranty card. I don't understand whats the problem as product was bought in october 2018 and it has 2 year warranty. Without this warranty card i wont be able to sell this expenses product.

            Thanks Team Nikon for your revert. I read on Nikon website that customer should atleast have serial number of warranty card which I do. So I don't need an original Warranty Card but just a letter stating my product is under warranty because it does have the serial number on warranty card picture. Please give me a solution to validate my product or just take it back.

              My Nikon D5600 is not showing anything on the lcd screen and is showing " Err " on the viewfinder. I emailed the official Nikon email account [protected]@nikon.com but they didn't replied. Then I went to the nearest service centre of Nikon with my issue but they denied service under warranty just because my warranty card is not stamped as it was brought online . I have my invoice with me but yet they denied me service. The Amazon customer executive also didn't offer much help and asking for service denial letter which the Nikon service centre didn't gave me on the excuse that they are too much busy. I live in remote place which is around 200 km from nearby Service centre. Please look into my matter with utmost urgency. Thank you

                Hi guys

                Personally recommended from my end never ever choose to purchase for nikon. I bought this product (D3400 dslr) from a reputed showroom reliance digital now its hardly 5-6 months ago i used it for 2 times... Now charger stops charging there is no any warranty of that product. At the time of purchased they guys will tells you sir 1 year complete warranty of that product now see the poor built quality. I m using cannon too now its been 5 years even a single problem is not facing.
                Poor and worst quality of nikon go for canon else sony (Best)

                  I have given my nikon 50 mm 1.8d lens which is originally of about 6000 rs new, i gave them for servicing as my focusing ring was bit jam, they have given me the estimate of service of 2548 rs & that too of only labour charge (Not mentioning which part is to be corrected or replace & of what price), my complaint num:sut-005676, date of compl - 16 april, almost 16-17 days have passed, still they are saying of next week (As earlier they did)..

                    Last month feb 1 (2019) i purchased a nikkor lens 200 500 5.6 which costs around 78000. When i tested the lens with my camera body i found some issues with auto focus and the images captured within 300 500 range is very soft. I clicked few more shots and confirmed the issue. On 5th day of purchase i reported this to customer care writing emails. They were doing some random tests and were telling no issues with it. Also i reported about some dusts and moisture marks inside the lens. They were telling its normal and cannot be fixed. And need to change some element which will be charged to me. From last 15 days my lens is with nikkor service centre banglore and they are not willing to fix the dusts and the marks inside it.

                    I am totally disappointed with the nikon after sale service. I believe its their responsibility to qa the lenses properly and ensure that there is no dusts/ particles inside a brand new lens.

                    I am not ready to take back the lens in that condition, i need my money back as soon as possible.

                      Hi,
                      I had deposited the camera box for my nikon d850 and another box for 24-120mm lens with a hotel in their store room. The boxes contained the warranty cards for both the products. The hotel has misplaced these boxes and as a result i no longer have the warranty cards.
                      (The camera and lens were bought in early october 2018. I have the invoice of the purchase).

                      When i tried calling up or contacting nikon's support mail id to request them to issue a replacement warranty card based on my invoice.
                      I am given a rigid answer that for all online purchases, without the paper warranty card no warranty support will be provided.
                      This is strange as the authenticity of the product can be determined by the camera serial number and the invoice.

                      First i do not need the warranty support immediately and hopefully would not need it in the future as well. The purpose of the warranty cover is to give the customer peace of mind for a limited duration after purchasing the new product.
                      They also refuse to provide any contact numbers to be able to speak to someone senior in the organization to resolve this.

                      Please help to resolve this matter.

                        Since 6th Dec'18 I am following up the Nikon Sales Head Office ([protected]@nikon.com) to know the sales location at Chennai - Tamil Nadu for my Z7 mirrorless Camera spare battery purchase.

                        But, there is no courtesy mail also for the customer query... Even after several reminder also there is no response & solutions for my requirement.

                        I felt very bad for choosing wrong product since there is no support for even purchasing...!!

                          Just recently got nikon d56003 months ago. After normal use it started to show error. I gave it to service center for repair. Submitted the camera to
                          Service center at andheri on 16 august. They mentioned it will be covered under warranty. Also they mentioned that they need to order part from out of country. But then it has been 3 weeks and still the part has not yet arrived at service. Saying that shipment has "no eta".

                            20jan 2018, i bought nikon d5300 from mm photography store kolkata. On my last day o[censored]se when i was taking some shots all of a sudden the camera started to malfunction and stopped taking pictures.
                            The very next day i took the camera to the nikon authorized service center through mm photography shop. They registered my issue with the camera and said that they will inform me what is wrong and what can be done. Today (25.07.18) they told me this is a liquid damage case but they did't found any water in my dslr body but they are sure about liquid damage but they dont know what is the source of liquid. I told them that the camera was neither brought close to any water source and neither there was any rain from the date of purchase.
                            Now the question arises that as per the law any product under warranty period gets subjected towards servicing the tech should open up the camera in front of the customer which they din't. After 7 days of submitting the camera they called me saying my service cost will be rs 11000 ($160.08) which was very shocking for a user/buyer like me that too of a camera of just a week old.
                            Adding to the fact the technician also said that this estimate is excluding all tax and they yet haven't opened the whole camera to check if there's more damage which will add to the cost i'll have to bear later. The technician also was unable to find the source from where the liquid entered the camera.
                            Now the trust has been broken. I feel i've been cheated and faulty parts of other camera were put onto my camera trying to cancel my warrant and earn money themselves. A camera of rs 46, 000 ($675.53) proved itself worthless.
                            Very bad nikon...

                            I will suggest all of you to think before trying to invest on nikon cameras...

                              I bought the camera on 2/6/18 and just after taking a few shots from the camera o realised that the camera is missing shots - i mean the pics are totally black. Initially i also thought that there might be an issue with the settings and i checked them again and again but it was not. Then one of my friend suggested to take two pics using the lowest aperture and highest exposure time. I took two shots, 1st one was black and next one was clicked ok. I understood that the hardware is malfunctioning and i dropped an email itself to the company, visited the dealer and their customer service center - but the solution the company is giving me is that they would repair the camera and not replace it... I mean the company cheated me and now not ready to rectify even

                                I had given my nikon d5200 in pune service center because of blurry viewfinder. They told me that my product is in warranty and diopter will be replaced under that, yesterday i got a call from service center and they told me that they can not fix this under warranty as there is internal damage, i asked them how i can damage the internal part of the camera if it was not dropped earlier by me and diopter is only used 2-3 times till now after listening this there answer was they are agreeing all this but they can not fix this under warranty.

                                This type o[censored]nprofessional reply is not expected from nikon service center.

                                Please help me on this asap.

                                  I submitted my 5 months old nikon d500 for sensor cleaning at authorized nikon collection centre, imphal - advance multitechnologies bapupura imphal manipur. On 24/01/2018. On 09/02/2018 (Job number:imf000582). My camera had no other issues except few dust on the sensor at the time of submitting even though i mentioned about having problems with wifi connection through their mobile app snapbridge and also about not getting 200 continuous shots as claimed by the company even though i used recommended xqd card. I received a call from nikon authorized service centre guwahati - kamakhya solution & service telling me that the charge of servicing would be rs. 14200. Shocked, i asked what the charge for. She replied it was for repairing the wifi. When i told her that nothing was wrong with the wifi physically, problem i mentioned was about the software and firmware. She said she would talk to her senior and call me back again. Later when i called her, she gave her phone to another guy who claimed that the sd card slot of the camera was damaged and the charge for replacing it. I protested and told him that it was working perfectly fine when i submitted my camera to their authorized collection centre, my issue was with xqd card not able to take 200 continuous shots and not with sd card. But he said it was damaged when he opened it to check and that such damage are not covered under nikon warranty thus i need to pay for it. I have made various complaints to nikon india through email, messenger, and over the phone that my camera was damaged when it was under their custody and as such the cost of the repair should be borne by nikon. Their arrogant reply is that their authorized collection centre where i submitted my camera for servicing is not authorized to inspect the internal part of the camera and thus testify the condition of the camera when received, so i have no proof that the sd card slot not damaged when it was submitted to the centre. I refused to pay the charge for sd card slot replacement and asked them to send the camera back. I received my camera with physically damaged sd card slot. Nikon has deviced such an aftersale service that and consumer who submits his equipment for servicing at their authorized collection centre is completely under their mercy. He has no claim about the condition of his equipment as submitted to nikon custody as such collection centres are not authorized to testify it.in such a situation if any damage occurs to the equipment while it was under nikon custody the consumer has no proof to claim that the damage took place after he had submitted the equipment to nikon. This also leaves a large room for nikon india to exploit and loot the poor consumer. They can simply claim that such and such parts are damaged (Even if there is no such damage at all) and ask the customer to pay for repair. If he pays, they can simply take the money and send the camera back without doing anything with it. If he refuses to pay, they can simply damage those mentioned parts to support their claim. The poor customer has no other alternative but to pay (I suspect that is what happened to my camera).

                                  I am seeking help in getting justice for the damage nikon india cause to my camera as well the mental harassment they put me through in this case.

                                  We are from Vijayawada. We have given our camera to the service centre in Vijayawada on 2nd May 2018. We didn't receive any information regarding that. It has been 14 days we didn't receive our product repaired..please change the staff of this Vijayawada service centre

                                    Hi team,
                                    Since 1 year i am not able to use my camera as it is not working now. Suddenly the battery is bulged and camera stopped working. I took it to service center and came to know that it is discontinued and spare parts are not available. Can you please suggest how to proceed on this. I requested for the spare parts and they say that this is impossible now. I used the camera only for 2 years.

                                      I have lost my dslr 3200, but i knew who was done this, i have his so many picture with my lost dslr & got so many photos which is taken by my lost camera, so please kindly help me for this problem, subrata saha his name who was done it., please please solve my problem, he is my cousin brother, but now we have no more relation, his friend told me that he had my camera, and also i have all are chat list which prove that he was done.

                                        Hi,

                                        I have purchased a d7200 with 18-135mm from foto circle, koramanala, bangalore on 18-march-2017 and used it almost 10 months. I used it for occasional photography. I did not check the shutter count till now. I checked the shutter count today and found it as 41257 which surprised me a lot. I never used it at this extent.

                                        I am not sure if it is faulty or there is some shutter count before purchase.

                                        Can you please look into this matter and suggest?
