Dear NMMT Team,
I would like to bring to your attention an issue that I have noticed frequently while travelling by NMMT buses.
Sometimes, a passenger makes a UPI payment for the bus ticket, the amount is debited from their account, but the ticket is not generated on the conductor’s machine/app. This creates confusion for both the passenger and the conductor, especially when the passenger has already been charged.
As I travel regularly by NMMT buses, I have personally noticed this issue occurring with passengers on multiple occasions.
I request NMMT to please look into this matter and consider providing a clear solution or procedure for such cases—for example, how the passenger should proceed when the payment is successful but the ticket is not generated, and how the debited amount can be refunded.
Kindly look into this issue and take the necessary steps to avoid inconvenience to passengers.
Dear NMMT Team,
This is a reminder regarding my earlier complaint, for which I have still not received any response or solution.
Today also, I noticed the same issue with passengers. The UPI payment gets debited, but the ticket is not generated on the conductor’s machine/app. This causes unnecessary inconvenience and sometimes leads to arguments between passengers and conductors.
I request NMMT to kindly review the UPI scanner/payment system being used through the conductor’s app. If the system is taking too much time or frequently failing, please consider providing an alternative scanner or a more reliable payment method.
I have also noticed that sometimes the server is not working and passengers are asked to pay only by cash, even when they want to make a UPI payment.
As I travel daily by NMMT buses, I request you to please look into this issue seriously and provide a clear solution/procedure for passengers when UPI payment is debited but the ticket is not generated.
Kindly reply with the action taken and proposed solution.
