I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against NBH Packers & Movers regarding the highly unsatisfactory service I experienced on 1st May 2026.
I had booked and paid for a 17-feet vehicle to ensure all my belongings could be shifted at once. However, the service provided was grossly inadequate:
• The vehicle sent was much smaller than promised.
• Only three personnel arrived, without proper packing materials to safeguard my valuable electronics and fragile items.
• Despite repeated attempts to reach customer support (at 7:37 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 9:30 AM), no assistance was provided.
Due to this failure and last-minute cancellation, I was compelled to hire another local vendor at a significantly higher cost (Rs. 17800). This caused me financial loss, wasted time, and considerable stress.
NBH had agreed via email to refund my booking amount, but despite assurances, the refund has not been processed to date. This delay further demonstrates negligence and lack of accountability.
In light of the above, I request the Consumer Forum to:
1. Direct NBH Packers & Movers to immediately refund the full booking amount.
2. Award compensation for the inconvenience, stress, and additional expenses incurred due to their deficient service.
I trust the Forum will take appropriate action to ensure justice and prevent such unfair practices from affecting other consumers.
