We had scheduled a booking with a packer and mover service with no broker through app to shift our household items. The booking was scheduled for 9 AM on October 2nd, but no partner was assigned, and we weren’t informed about it. After multiple calls and complaints, a customer service executive finally contacted us and informed us that the service would not happen that day. It was then rescheduled for 9 AM on October 3rd.
We had opted for a premium plan that included bubble wrap for all our electronics, but none of the items were wrapped properly. One of the TVs had to be transferred in our car because they said they ran out of wrapping material. During the disassembly of the wardrobe, they broke the mirror and then claimed that it was already broken, even saying that it was just a bathroom mirror. When we complained, they asked us the price of the mirror. We informed them it was ₹5000, and they said some compensation would be provided. Later, they falsely claimed that we had stated the mirror’s price was ₹500, not ₹5000.
Also tv has scratches.
Suddenly, they asked for the end OTP service and the remaining payment and then paused the service while our belongings were being transported from the pickup to the drop location, which was only 2-2.5 km away. Despite this short distance, they took 2 hours to arrive.
Upon arrival, they argued with us and demanded the remaining payment. They didn’t install the TV and told us that it wasn’t included in the service. Additionally, the carpenter who was supposed to come to both the pickup and drop locations for the wardrobe only arrived at the drop location, not at the pickup location.
